If I was able to leave absolutely negative stars I would. It saddens me so much to have to say how bad my experience was. Especially with just have been there almost a week ago. We had an issue with our bill and we asked to speak to a manager. They what we found out later was the "bar manager" Manuel. He came over to the time and told us what do you want I have other customers to deal with. We explained everything that was wrong and he began to call us liars and began to cus at my cousin. Which was completely uncalled for I spoke with him after I paid for my check. Because he decided not to bring it back my check he went to the behind the bar and began talking about the situation. I know he was referring to my table because this man was talking and pointing and looking at me when he was talking to two gentlemen and the worst thing was one of the gentlemen he was talking to was Kevin the waiter who served us last week I wrote a good review about. So, I asked for Manuel to come back and speak with me has angrily walked over. I expressed to him that it was very unprofessional to talk and at they way with a customer yelling and cussing there is know excuses and I was talking to him very calmly. And Manuel told me that he was not trying to do anything because he could lose his job over this which tells me this is not the first time this has happened with this man. It is very said because I really enjoyed the food but after this service I will never go again nor recommend this place. I hope corporate and the actual managers look at the cameras and see how unprofessional this man Manuel was. I paid at 8:30pm on 10/14/22. So, please check your cameras and please train your people how to deal with upset customers. And let the hosts in the front know corporates number and what a district mango is. Because they had no information about it when we asked. And please feel free to have a real manager or corporate call me I would greatly appreciate that. Because this is...
Read moreMy wife and I have been wanting to check this place out for some time and finally had a chance on Easter with the kids.
Our initial thought of the interior when we walked in was that it was underwhelming. Nonetheless, we weren’t really there for the decor so much as we were there for drinks and food.
Upon asking our waitress what alcohol they served, I was surprised in her response, which she informed us that they did not yet have their liquor license and therefore did not sell alcohol.
At this point I was tempted to leave, but thought, well, let’s at least try the food. To our surprise it was “WOW”. Sure we didn’t have the alcohol (which is the only reason I’m giving them a 4 out of 5), but their Green Mussel (Larger then the Black Mussel), Raw Oysters, and fried Calamari were equally as good as the San Pedro Fish Market Restaurant, and much closer.
For our little ones we ordered chicken tenders which were large enough for our 3 and 4 year olds to share. They were also very good.
All-in-All, great seafood, and I would recommend this to anyone not wanting to make the drive to Long Beach, San Pedro, or any coastline restaurants. Just keep in mind that this place serves NO alcohol.
Update: We just revisited this location and they now serve alcohol, however, when we ordered on tap the drinks were room temperature. The waitress said they had just gotten the kegs the night before, which may explain why it was room temperature. Nonetheless, I’d have to go back and see if that improves. Food is still awesome, service is mediocre at best. My wife and I are typically very generous tippers, especially with great service. This time around we were never asked if we wanted refills or more drinks/food. We didn’t leave her a tip. Anyone in the service industry has to realize a tip is not mandatory, and is dependent on the level of service you provide to the customer. Anyway, great food… not so...
Read moreDo not eat here! This is my first review and did not plan on writing this but the manager was the rudest person when I called and refused to listen to me so I feel the need to inform the public, as now I’m suspicious of their health protocols. When I was there, I ate both the clams and Manila clams and got violently ill within the hour- throwing up, diarrhea, intense cramping- lasting throughout the night into the next day. I have never had food poisoning before so this was new to me, this was not a normal stomach ache (like the manager told me I had). Many people were encouraging me to call and let them know, so I called as a courtesy- not wanting anything from them! After being told there was no manager, so I just asked to speak to whomever was in charge. I started the conversation with I do not want anything but I want to let you know I got food poisoning. He told me that it was probably a stomach ache and it was going around. I started trying to explain that these symptoms were different and he kept interrupting me; telling me, he eats the clams all the time and that he’s in charge of the whole restaurant and he would give me more free food. I tried again to explain and he continued to interrupt me so I then asked if I could have a turn to speak and he proceeded to yell at me and tell me he was too busy for this - hanging...
