Los Taquero Mucho — Restaurant in Montebello

Our wedding coordinator recommended Los Taquero Mucho, having worked with them before, and stressing how professional and on top of things they were. We liked the idea of tacos at our wedding for a few reasons. We love Mexican food, we wanted something buffet-style, and we wanted to share something uniquely L.A. with our out-of-town guests. So we were inclined to hire LTM when our coordinator told us how solid they were. Then we tried the food. Whoa boy. Honestly, they make the best carnitas either of us have ever had in our lives. The only challenge we had with them was narrowing down what to order. Everything they made was outrageously delicious. All our guests were blown away, and weeks later people are still commenting on how delicious everything was--the ceviche, the guacamole, and the vegetarian squash, which was a HUGE hit. We had a lot of vegetarians and a lot of gluten-free guests, and they easily accommodated everyone. Sylvia was also so incredibly on top of everything, and so easy to work with. She let us know early on to loop her in on our design decisions so their station could fit in with the look of the rest of our wedding--and it was seamless. Beware … got these guys to cater my daughters wedding.. LISTEN to me closely, I paid them about 1900 $ for 100 people, probably about 60 people were in attendance.. first the presentation of the food was not the same as the food they push out at the restaurant, they sent us 2 workers,,, first they ran out of forks, then after the first round of tacos , there were going to serve quesadillas.. probably after a couple quesadillas they run out of cheese… they start cleaning up .. then it’s brought to my attention by the wedding coordinator.. that one of the workers said there was a lot of meat left over which was never cooked.. but taken back by them … complete clown show.. your better off getting a taquero from the street .. save your money and choose wisely for your next event.. but would not...

Where should I even start? This team of chefs are amazing! They season and cook their food with great care and when you take a bite, it honestly feels like it’s a home cooked meal for a loved one. The meats are juicy and tender, the salsas give it that extra kick, and their sides are the cherry on top. Oh but their drinks are also so SO good! I’ve hired them multiple times and my guests ALWAYS compliment me on the food. My family and friends have hired them and have nothing but good things to say as well which means, they are consistent which is a great thing.
