I took my mom for breakfast on Saturday morning, the wait wasn't long at all. We were seated and a server by the name of jenny came to grab our drinks. I asked for an orange juice for my mother, she brought the orange juice. My mother is an elderly woman who can't drink cold drinks, so I asked her if she could please bring me a cup of hot water so I could mix it with her orange juice. She looked at me with a face and said OK...we waited for like 10 minutes for the hot water and nothing. She passed by us, and I asked her again for the hot water, she looked at me and VERY rude and with an attitude said, "I'm Coming". I understand that they can get busy but where I was seated, I could see all the servers. All she was doing was laughing and talking to another guy server there and with her phone in her hands. I asked for a manager and a young man came out and I explained the situation to him, and I asked if they could change my server. He apologized and he brought me the hot water that I was asking for and my mother could finally start drinking her orange juice. Another server by the name of Carmen came, and wow what a difference. Very attentive and friendly, the food was hot and amazing. Another lady manager passed by and asked me if everything was ok, I said I was fine since my server was changed. I also told her that I wasn't there for free food, all I wanted to do was eat and leave. Jenny shouldn't be there if she doesn't like to deal with customers. I visited the Denny’s in Montebello recently, and I was really impressed with how great the service was. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The hostess greeted me right away with a friendly smile, and I didn’t have to wait long to be seated. Even though it was a busy time, the staff stayed calm, professional, and made sure every guest was taken care of.

My server was excellent — attentive without hovering, and very quick to check in to make sure I had everything I needed. They made sure drinks were always refilled promptly and kept me updated on my order. That kind of attentiveness makes such a big difference when dining out.

The food itself was served hot, fresh, and exactly how I ordered it. There’s nothing better than getting a meal right off the grill, steaming hot, and that’s exactly what I received. You can tell the kitchen was on top of things because not only was the food delicious, but it was brought out quickly and with great presentation.

What stood out the most was how the entire team worked together — from the servers to the kitchen staff to the managers who were checking in on tables. The whole restaurant had a positive, welcoming vibe, and it made my visit really enjoyable.

After a fantastic Dodger victory last night, we were thrilled to grab a delicious late-night meal at Dennys in Montebello on Wilcox before our hour ride home which wss conveniently located off the 60 Freeway. I just have to gush about the incredible service we received at midnight. Our server, Mariah, was an absolute gem. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, taking care of us with a smile throughout our entire meal. Mariah was so accommodating and friendly, it truly made our night. Not only was she great at her job, but she also radiated youthfulness and beauty, all while keeping a positive attitude during those late hours. When it came time to pay, I knew Mariah deserved more than just a 20% tip. I made sure to show my appreciation for her exceptional work ethic. In our chat, I discovered that at just 19 years old, Mariah is a dedicated mother to a four-year-old daughter. Her humility and strong work ethic are truly inspiring for someone her age.
