There is free parking in their parking lot. As you walk in, you can see there are a couple of those arcade machines (grab a stuffed animal type). The lobby area has a koi fish pond (signs say do not throw in coins or feed the fish). First impressions are that it's a clean, neat buffet place. Hostess was courteous. Even though the parking lot was full the restaurant did not feel overly full.
The food was typical of Chinese buffet type places. Half of the items were labeled as to what they were. Signs ask that children under 10 be accompanied by an adult.
In addition there is a sushi area and hibachi grill. There is not a great variety of sushi available and one of the pieces I tried had been sitting out too long (it felt stale). The sashimi pieces were too thin and not high quality (you have to request them). I did not try the hibachi grill so cannot comment on that.
I suggest that you come during the dinner rush so that the food is plentiful and replaced frequently. We were there a while since I have children that take forever to eat (but they LOVED it there) and I saw that in the last hour nothing was replaced.
Their ice cream is served in individual ice cream cups (single serve type).
Overall it was a good experience that we would do again. I have been to better buffet places in VA Beach and NJ but it was not the worst one I've been to either. Service...
Read moreJust went there today on a Friday evening close to 6:00pm. I was pleasantly surprised to find a lot more food and variety compared to a "run of the mill" ordinary Chinese buffet during this pandemic (but this buffet is more than just Chinese food of course).. Everything was fresh as one would expect in the midst of dinner time and the food was pretty tasty. I just think that it's a little over priced when you can tell that they're not providing as much variety and food as they normally would. I don't know if they were charging higher prices before Covid but currently their prices are around $20 for dinner and $13 dollars for lunch. And while I appreciate their efforts of taking our temps at the door and handing out disposable gloves, I really hate having to use their cheap and environmentally unfriendly STYROFOAM plates/cups and plasticware. Seriously, is that even necessary when you're making us wear gloves? For that price I would really appreciate dining on real plates and especially now that studies have shown that the virus isn't spread as readily via contact surfaces vs airborne droplets. Anyway, the food was good and the waitstaff ladies were pleasant enough so if you don't mind styrofoam or a high price, I would recommend coming here during the peak times when the food is...
Read moreI've been here at few times so here is my review after giving this location multiple visits.
#1 I've never had an issue about asking for more tips, since I always give a minimum 15%. The people who have been leaving poor reviews about it must have been giving $1 per person as a tip, which is a travesty, but at the same time, the employees should also keep it professional and talk to their ownership and management about the issue to figure out something.
#2 The restaurant is fairly large and I like how everything is spread out so you're not bumping into people.
#3 The service is alright. They are not overly friendly or rude, they are in the middle. They do their job of clearing plates and bringing refills.
#4 The food is mediocre overall, but you will be able to find a few items that you can enjoy. I do not recommend the sushi bar, except for the cooked sushi. Those were decent. Didn't trust the quality of the raw fish. Their were some decent hot food items and people seemed to really enjoy the hibachi grill items.
To give a more accurate rating 3.8 for me.
But if ur in the area and ur famished, it's not the worst choice in the world.
Oh. And as a plus, they have a very nice sized...
