I popped into Jersey Mike's Subs this past Thursday (July 24th) around 6 PM, just looking to grab a couple of subs, and immediately, the atmosphere was fantastic. Good music was playing, customers were genuinely laughing and enjoying their meals, and even with a small line, the whole place just had this incredibly positive vibe.
The two team members working the counter were truly exceptional. You could tell they had a great rapport with each other, and that positive energy extended to every single customer they served. They were incredibly attentive, addressing everyone politely with "sir" or "miss," asking about their day, and genuinely engaging in conversation. It wasn't just a script; I saw customers comfortably sharing details about their lives, and these team members listened and responded authentically throughout the entire sandwich-making process, right up to checkout.
What really stood out was their genuine attentiveness. Just before it was my turn, I overheard other patrons heartily thanking them for a great meal. Then, without missing a beat, these two seamlessly shifted their full attention to me. They started a fresh, unique conversation, which clearly demonstrated their authentic interest rather than just reciting pre-set questions. Their politeness and upbeat attitudes made my entire experience unexpectedly delightful, and their manners were truly impeccable.
I even witnessed a remarkable interaction with a new customer who walked in appearing quite frustrated. Within moments of experiencing the positive atmosphere and their warm demeanor, he visibly relaxed and began to share his car troubles and frustrations with the mechanics. It was truly striking to see how quickly people felt at ease and let their guard down with these two individuals.
This experience compelled me to write this review. It was so much more than just picking up a couple of subs. These two employees were incredibly professional, polite, and positive, transforming a simple "grab and go" into a genuinely pleasant and memorable encounter. I sincerely hope management sees this review and recognizes them, as they clearly embody the leadership qualities Jersey Mike's should value. I'll definitely make sure to get their names next time I'm in so I can update...
Read moreWalked in 8:45 pm and store closes at 9 pm. The lady at station was not happy and it showed in her expression and reaction. Yes, I get it, it's only 15 min before your place closes and you didn't want anyone for the last 15 min. Then just close at 8:45? Anyhow, ordered 4 subs and none of them were right. I have eaten the California cheese steak so many times from jerseys mike as that is my favorite, but this one seemed like she just randomly added stuffs and no lettuce at all. Other subs also has similar issues, none of them had green peppers as mentioned in the description and 2 different subs, the kaguna and portabelo sub looked and tasted exactly the same .. what a mess for a dinner :( Wish the owner to keep folks who at least do their job decently. Not expecting a great welcome or even a smile. But can't you even prepare the sub the way you are...
Read moreJersey Mikes is consistently good to very good. This particular JMs was very good. The service was excellent and the two young men making the sandwiches were polite and attentive. For me this makes a huge difference. I ordered the Italian in plain roll. My only issue is the bread falls between a general hot dog consistency and cheaper store bright imitation “Italian bread” no real crispness on the outer side and soft inside which turns to mush with the mayo and (light oil and vinegar). I know this is in house made but it is maybe a step or two above subway bread wise. Over all though still a good sub. Deli sliced meat with a very nice portion. ...
