I’ve been working at Bonefish grill for a little while now and I must express how amazing it is working here. I have never felt so accepted, and supported at a job then I have here. I love working here and have so much fun while I’m working because of how amazing our staff is.
Managers:
JD: The store manager is exceptional. She treats our staff like her children and ensures our shifts are enjoyable while also making sure all tasks are completed and customers are satisfied. She goes above and beyond her managing duties, especially when we are short-staffed in the kitchen. She efficiently helps with cooking, sending out food, making drinks, and anything else needed. She stands up for the staff when needed, recognizing our hard work. In challenging situations, she protects and supports the staff without hesitation.
Emily: Emily is truly the life of the party. Not only is she a hard worker, but she is also one of the kindest and most compassionate individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her presence never fails to bring a smile to someone's face, as she always has a contagious and uplifting energy that surrounds her. Whenever she is working, she consistently goes out of her way to ensure that everyone around her is happy and in good spirits. She keeps a smile on her face trying to make everyone feel good even if she is suffering herself. Although I’m not super close to her I witness her dedication to creating a warm environment for all every shift.
Grace: As a bartender, server, and manager, Grace goes above and beyond to assist in any way possible. Her contribution is invaluable, and Bonefish relies heavily on her. She willingly helps everyone, regardless of the task. There are numerous occasions where she transitions between roles during the day to lend a hand. Additionally, her dedication to managing social media and promoting the business is remarkable.
Dave: Our new manager may not have been here for long, but his efforts do not go unnoticed. He is a kind individual who goes above and beyond to assist, even when injured. Despite still being in training, he consistently ensures that customers are satisfied and enjoying their meal.
Nick: The manager who hired me, Nick, has been a cornerstone of dedication at our location. Although it's been a while since I last saw him, his influence is unmistakable in the way he meticulously guided me in running our operations. Nick is genuinely one of the kindest people you could ever meet. He would end each day by diligently ensuring that every tiny spot on the glasses was cleaned and everything was in perfect order. He also made a point of effectively communicating with our Spanish-speaking staff, among many other tasks, to keep our location running smoothly. I'm eagerly looking forward to his return.
Tyler: Tyler, one of our managers, tries hard to be attentive in his approach to customer service. He's constantly on the move, checking in on customers, delivering drinks and bread promptly, and efficiently clearing tables. His dedication to going above and beyond for our patrons is evident in every action he takes. Tyler's work ethic is truly remarkable; he's always striving to lend a hand wherever it's needed, ensuring that everyone feels supported. Moreover, he always tires his best to lighten the environment with jokes and humor.
Servers/Bar:
Liz: Liz is my favorite server and has helped me immensely since day one. Work would not be the same without her. Sometimes she like the fun older sister I never had. She is an amazing server, who was first to show me the ropes and made sure I knew what I was doing, all while keeping things fun. Honestly, my favorite shifts are when I get to work with her because she just makes everything better. Liz's service is top-notch, and her energy is awesome. I'm super grateful to have her as a coworker. And one of my three absolute favorite co-workers. Thank you for everything Liz I am so happy to be able to...
Read moreHello folks, so don't be alarmed, I know this is an uncommonly low rating. (For those who follow us, if you know you know.) Let me start with this was our first visit to a Bonefish Grill. We weren't aware of the necessity to book reservations. We were a party of four this night. They have 25 seating areas in the dining room and 24 - 6 pm reservations. Oy! They took our phone number to let us know when our seat would be available. We arrived at the height of the chaos, put our names in and headed to the bar. Amaretto sour, MaiTai, Coke, and house a Tequila were all on point. Text updates would have let us know that we were not forgotten, during our hour long wait. Good conversation allowed the time to pass well more or less. Hostess Kayden was cordial, accommodating, and apologetic. We had two in our party with physical limitations and she was gracious. We got settled, and met our server Nicole. She was quite impressive as she was knowledgeable regarding most of our questions , and what she didn't know, she asked about. She took our drink and appetizer orders and put those in. The bread and appetizers were quick to arrive, as were the salads. (They could have asked if we wanted them held until after the appetizers were finished, especially in light of how the rest of this would play out.) Appetizers: Bang bang Shrimp x 2 (4 Stars, signature dish was under sauced) Mussels (I love at their sister restaurant Carrabas, however, half the order didn't open. Yet, they plated it and sent it out.) Crab Rangoon Dip. (Was delicious😋) Salads being brought out right after the hot appetizers caused an unneeded traffic jam on the table. (Detracted from the experience) Entree's: Crab legs (Came out cold, sent back, didn't come back out until the rest of us had finished; and were ultimately over cooked, but couldn't send them back again, at this point we were 3 hours in. ) Salmon on the cedar plank (delicious, broccoli as well!) Mahi (delicious) Linguine Delmar (sauce was broken, scallops were so petite they were hard to find, 2 mussels unopened) Servers were embarrassed and apologetic, I really felt for the position they were put in. They remained cheerful, and they helped cover each others tables as a team. We also met June another wonderful server. The manager, Nick, stopped by our table to apologize for the situation and that the kitchen was so hamstrung due to the abundance of 6 pm reservations. He offered a round of desserts but we declined, knowing it would push us out to 4 hours, and our party's timers had long expired. Nick was gracious, and gave a credit towards our check instead. It was a hot🔥 mess. If you know us, though, we always give them the opportunity for us to update this review. We will return, unannounced, and see how they do. Stay...
