Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Montgomery Township

Ritas is the place to go for water ice. My kids love it and they recognize the place just by the color of the shade they put up at every location. The personally love certain flavors. Following are the ones I suggest Cotton Candy Sugar free dragon fruit All natural orange All natural pineapple

One issue that I feel is that the all natural flavors are not consistently available. So there are many times that I drive to the store and I see that the all natural orange is not available and I come home without buying anything. What I need to realize is that the all natural is based on availability and cost etc. But orange is available at this time of the year and available should not be an issue.

Another thing I would like to point out is the driveway and the parking lot. The parking area and the driveway really needs a makeover and feels like a dirty pothole overall. This needs to be repaved and sealed so that people feel they have come to a decent place where we could hang out and sit around having the water ice rather than buying and leaving n having the water ice in the car.

Just went to Rita’s and they close at 9:00 pm we got there at 8:40. The guy that hat waited on us was very unfriendly . He made a mistake and gave me a cup but I asked for a cone. He apologized but my husband wanted black cherry water ice and he said they don’t have it but it was on the billboard. He seemed agitated and likely could have went into the back to get more our. Needless to say my husband ended up not getting anything. Very rude help! Seemed agitated that it was 8:40 and they close at 9. This Rita's is right around the corner from us. The products are exactly what you would expect from other Rita's, so anything you like from the brand will be exactly the same here. (Which me and my family love). The parking is a little rough. It shares a parking lot with dry cleaner and the size is pretty small. It's also not very well kept. There are a lot of bumps, potholes, etc. Also there are no lines, so it's all up for grabs when pulling in. Small amount of bench seating on the side.
