I just returned from the Zelda Road location. I was the last customer of the night. When you work in a restaurant, your last plate has to be as good as your first plate. I have worked in the service industry for most of my adult life. This experience was a terrible disappointment for several reasons. I entered the store with a friend to a tired welcome. Closing time on a Friday night, totally understandable. I approached the counter anticipating the combination of fresh flavors that I have come to expect from the chain. I assume that the person that took my order was the manager, by the difference in her uniform. She had just walked away from the register. Without changing her gloves she asked what I wanted. First red flag! You NEVER handle money with your gloves on then touch food with the same gloves. NEVER! Money is the single most grossly contaminated item in the entire building with the only exception being a freshly used, unflushed toilet. This only struck me after I was told that they were out of steak. Moe's only has four protein options...four. Not hard to manage if you know what you're doing. This prompted me to look the entire place over. Messy floor, food on the salsa cooler, full garbage, dirty uniforms... all signs of an unclean establishment. It's not hard to stay clean if you are careful and pay attention to detail. Even when you're working quickly. I paid closer attention to the food items on display in front of me. Unwiped counters, dirty/old pans in the steam tray, fresh ingredients mixed with others, and worst of all, fat buildup in the beef and pork that was barely discernible as food. The pork was proudly offered as an alternative to the steak that I had requested. There were less than two tablespoons left in the pan. It was totally macerated and looked almost cold. No steam from the station at all, anywhere. I refused to place an order and commented on the pork and was dismissed immediately. I will not be patronizing this location again for at least six months to give them the chance to be a better example. One LAST chance. This story will definitely be posted to social media. There are two Moe's in town. I expected much better...

Update 2021: it’s still good and the location as always awesome so yeah I always come here.
9/22/21-Cashier had an whole attitude if you don’t want to be there, then don’t;don’t be rude. I am not going called out specific person, but you know whom you are.I used to work at a fast food, don’t be rude cause that rudeness will not take you far. Update of November 2023: don’t even really eat at this location anymore, the staff I used to known all gone and now it’s a bunch of teenagers working there like they don’t want to be there, taken my business elsewhere. May of 2024: bad enough I had to wait on my stack, but I had to start back at the end of the line cause you guys messed it up, come on now , I should have been the first one . Been a good thirty minutes or more and didn’t get my Moe’s Monday discount. Should’ve got a discount waited so long or something. I am regular customer. P..S., if they not caught up with the food at the end wait til they all caught up from the beginning. Now you guys just slow slow with food backed up and two managers just standing around looking no help while both just went in the back and food sitting there for minutes. And if you don’t want to be there don’t come, simple. Update of September 2025: it’s good and welcome myself back to...
Read moreWe had evacuated from Panama City Beach from Hurrican Michael. We have been living in a hotel, safely, thank God, since Monday night. We love Moes and the only one we have, is in town where everything was destroyed and about a 45 min drive. I came in at 8:50 on October 13 and was greeted by BRE happily. She assisted in making my order perfectly for my husband and I and we chit chatted while she did. I'm not looking for empathy, as we are on the lucky end of the stick, but know MANY, who have lost everything, and BRE made me feel loved. She deserves everything and the world due to her up beat personality and wonderful customer service. She talked about her family and the human kind as a whole and gave me a long hug, as I needed, knowing the devastation I knew we were heading back too, tomorrow. She is an AMAZING human being and needs a raise or atleast recognition for the lives she touches while working in your restaurant. I work in the service industry also, for 15 years, and she is one in a million. Promote her, give her a raise, or at least a freakin recognition because she is a beautiful individual and a WONDERFUL asset to your community. Thank you BRE, our angel on Zelda road
