I have always had a good experience but today I was stunned at the customer service. When an order is messed up on their end they should just smile and fix it. Today I got the worst Attitude from the girls. I was as nice as I could be and said after looking at my recipe that something wasn't right and another kids meal was added. I just said that I didn't want the other one. I don't know what happend but I didn't order three. They looked at me like I was a problem. And I said again I want my money from that extra order. I have two kids so why would I order three?? They didn't even apologize for the mix up. They were more worried about being a jerk and getting the extra drink that I had holding out the window for them to get. They need to learn patience and manners !!! That is the face of the company!! As long as I see them when I go I will go all the way to Jackson to get food. It's sad because I have never had a problem but they hire people and don't pay attention to...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this location for years, long before they build the new restaurant. Recently the service has been horrible. My girlfriend and I stopped in on Thursday 5/16/25 and ordered at 8:40pm (it’s all on cameras). The girl who took our order didn’t greet us or asked what we wanted to order, just stared at us, and ignored me when I asked how her day was. We ordered and patiently waited for 20 mins and they never called our order, but took orders after us and severed them. I walked to the counter and was ignored there too when they took other orders then turned their back to me and would just talk and be on their phones. They eventuality acknowledge me and took my receipt and finally started making my order after 20+ mins. This is the first time I’ve ever felt uncomfortable and unwelcome in a restaurant before. Do yourself a favor and just go to the Jacks...
Read moreIt’s not what it used to be. People don’t go here because the food is good, they go here because there are practically no other options in Monticello and it is the only drive thru in town. As far as Dairy Queens go, it used to be great under the old ownership. Now you are likely to wait at least 20 minutes for a fast food hamburger and you’re lucky if your order isn’t messed up. The parking lot regularly overflows into the road because the service is so slow. If you ever have the misfortune of walking through the kitchen you will probably never step in there again. And on top of that, every yard on Honeysuckle and Washington St is mowed and looks nice enough. The Dairy Queen has some kind of weeds/grass on the Honeysuckle St side of the parking lot that are regularly left to grow five feet high before being cut. Truly an eyesore. The dipped cones...
