We stopped in for sandwiches before heading up to Do Good Fest, and it was really hard to choose- everything on the menu sounded really good. We ended up with a banh mi (the one bite I managed to snag before my partner devoured it was terrific) and a reuben that was perfectly grilled and beautifully proportioned. We also grabbed a turkey bacon sandwich to go, which held up shockingly well in the 85+ degree heat for a few hours before we ate it on the National Life lawn. The cherry chutney is an inspired choice.
We finished with some gelato: the pistachio was among the best either of us has ever had. There were also some other really interesting flavors I wouldn't hesitate to recommend: yuzu and blood orange, both of which were delicate and citrusy in the best way, and cherry blossom, very floral but not perfumey.

A really special flavor combo. The tart & subtle heat of the jalapeños with the earthiness of the mushrooms! On incredible high quality bread!!! So so good
