I came to Alfredo's for a first time date. Though everything was just.. Okay.. it's not what I remember several years ago. The food was, okay. I ordered the fajita enchilada with Mexican corn and Chino beans. Everything was bland. Granted I am used to authentic vs tex mex. But what really topped it off is after our server brought the ticket, I paid and tipped 22.35%. This, again was a first date so we did linger a bit. However, I kept watch on our servers section and there was always plenty of tables for other guests, we came after the rush closer to 8. So, I'm finding out more about my date and I have my receipt and the stores copy in front of me. Our server came and very deliberately reached right in front of my face and grabbed the receipt. Okay. Never had that happen before but thought he was leaving so maybe he needed to close out. No, he never left. I purposefully stopped and got cash out of the ATM tonight as I thought if this went well I knew we would be in his section a bit long. I was going to leave an extra 20 for a total of 78.21% tip for taking up his seat. However, never received a refill, an offer for one, an offer for a to-go cup, you know the nice ways to say hey, you've over stayed and I'm hoping you'll leave lol. Lastly, I haven't been around in a while but the switch to the hard uncomfortable metal chairs was an unpleasant surprise as well. I once was a rewards, text and email subscribed patron and thought it would be nice to return but. I probably won't again. Not the worst but, really disappointed for a first date. I apologized a lot. Next time I'll find a more meaningful place. If you enjoy tex mex, and quick impersonal in and out service, for a decent price this may be it for you.
Edit: After posting I read several others complaining about prices. How? I mean the food was literally just okay, but their prices were amazing compared to a lot of places. Any less on the price I would have been paying fast...

The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent value for money. But what really sets this restaurant apart is the service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about their customers' dining experience. They're always happy to make recommendations and offer suggestions, and they go above and beyond to ensure that everything is just right.
Overall, I would highly recommend Alfredo's Mexican Cafe to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. With their delicious food, warm hospitality, and unbeatable service, it's no wonder that they're one of the best Mexican restaurants in...
Read moreThe atmosphere was clean but not memorable. The server was pleasant after seating. Seating was an issue. We had 6 total, 3 adults and 3 children: an ADHD 4 year old, a 2 year old and a non-verbal Autistic 9 year old. We asked for a booth in a corner. We got a booth next to an empty booth which had a corner. Corners are great for locking down the Autistic child and the ADHD child. Anyway. She placed us at a table in the middle of the wall with open ends, booth style bench on the wall and chairs on the other side. There appeared to be a language barrier with the server who sat us. The food was brought out quickly and was hot the drinks were brought quickly and were refreshed as needed. The food was blan. I had the carnita 🌮 dry pulled pork, no sauce or flavoring. The black beans were steamed also little or no seasoning. The Mexican corn was all 🧀 and mayo no seasoning again. Other people at the table complained that their refried beans tasted like they were made with pond water and the rice tasted like "room air". We are not from this area and not familiar with this place but we love Mexican and have stoped at many Mexican restaurants in the last few months. We do not recommend if you like flavor, this was...
