Jersey Mike's is hands down my favorite place to eat. And Moore used to be my favorite location when the manager was different. I get off work at 7:30 pm. I went to 2-40 JM and they were out of wheat bread. Call Moore JM and they said they were out of wheat bread at 8:45 pm. A man answered the phone & said that he would make me a wheat flatbread sandwich, but I better hurry cause they were closing. I got there & the man said that I was almost late (2 minutes til close...so yeah that's true) and he was about to trash the sandwich. I joked and said or you could have eaten it and he said, "no thank you. I don't want it." He looked disgusted and was rude. Fast forward to this past week. I show up at the Moore JM location at 8:30 and they were out of wheat bread. I was ticked. White bread makes me sick to my stomach. I asked the sales associate why they keep running out of bread and he said, "It's our hottest seller." The manage just watched and said nothing until later. I said, "Well if it's your hottest seller then you should make more." He said, "We always run out but we aren't allowed to make more cause it will mess up our numbers." Now I am in customer service and if your customers are needing something you fix it because without your customers you have no store. The sandwich maker then said, "Well we could have made you two wheat sandwiches on a mini that equals a regular. Oh sorry, she already started your sandwich." Really? Seriously? You can throw that meat on two minis? But no one did. I began to walk out and the female sandwich maker whispered to me, "You are not wrong." This was while the sandwich maker and manager were in the back. I left with my white bread sandwich. Then went back in and complained to the manager. He said absolutely nothing. Nothing other than nod. I told him I'm in customer service and Google reviewer and that I will complain of their lack of customer service and poor management. The manager? He said nothing. At all. I left. This is now my least favorite Jersey Mike's. I am a loyal customer. I have reward points, the texts,, and the app. And this is just plain wrong to not service your customers. I recall when JM had some of the best customer services, but it's going downhill and I am writing this because I am a huge fan of this restaurant and I want it...
Read moreJersey Mike's had been my favorite sandwich shop for over 15 years; top notch friendly service and "care" in making sandwiches. This week I made my third stop at the Moore location, and it will be my last. I always order three wraps, to go; I ALWAYS include a healthy sized tip. Trip One: Ordered with App. Arrived on time - my order not started- no apology, just a sour look from the counter person saying I will have to wait. Order is finished and slung onto the counter, no thank you or even a smile. Upon openeing my order, the "Wraps" are not "wrapped" properly and fall apart in my hands and onto the floor.
Trip Two: Ordered in store, nice tip. No smile, no thank you, just a dead glare from the counter help (apparently providing service was interfering with their own personal conversations) . Order finished - slung on the counter, no thank you or even a nod; it was like he was tossing it in a bin.
Trip Three (and the last): Ordered with app including good tip, arrived,my three wraps are sitting in a pile on the counter while the employee is on another task. I ask when another employee when my order will be ready; no explanation, employee just mumbled something and gave me a look that inlcuded a dose of attitude. Other employee returns, starts wrapping my order; employee coughs and wipes his face on his arm while still wrapping my sandwiches. He finishes, tosses them in a bag and tosses it at me accross the counter - Again, not thank you, just another dose of attitude. I later open the wraps, and like the first trip they fall apart into a pile of meat and veggies.
Its amazing how far Jersey Mikes has sunk. A business that once claimed the fastest and friendliest service is now the complete opposite. This is not rocket science, the manager needs to screen and monitor employees; those that hate customer service (and customers in general) need to find work elsewhere. My apology to the employees of this location that "do" provide good customer service, unfortunetly the bad apples have given all a bad name. I can understand an employee having a bad day, but now, after three trips and different employees with poor...
Read moreI usually come to this store for my sandwiches and the workers are very kind. With that said. I ordered some sandwiches online at 1:17 on May 14th and had to wait over an hour while they still asked me what my order was repeatedly. They didn’t have my ticket either. I saw a gentleman give my sandwich away two times to another customer while he could have bagged it and gave it to me. I understand they were busy, but if you have a system it shouldn’t have worked this way. I have worked in fast food and sandwich business to be exact. It was never this bad. Hope this finds you well and that I can bring y’all more business in the future.
-After I posted this they managed to get my order together and the team was very kind and thanked me for my patience. They paid for my sandwiches because I didn’t make a fuss and waited, and allowed me to upgrade to combos. They definitely recovered from the situation, but I think there is room for improvement in the system. Thank you to the crew and thank you for replying to my review. You still have a loyal customer and I will be...
