This place is the most disappointing place I've eaten at in the Moore. The food itself was horrible. The service was not great either. I asked for my burger dry and they might as well dunked the whole burger in mayonnaise. There was a disgusting amount of mayo on that thing. Before even taking it back to my table from the counter, I asked for it to be remade. Again, I asked for it with no sauce. They rolled their eyes at me but remade it. When I went to the counter the second time to get my food it had mayonnaise on it again, but this time a normal-ish amount. I asked again for it to be remade and they did but there was a lot of attitude from the dude at the counter. When they did finally get the order right, it just wasn't good. It was the most tasteless burger I've ever had.
Also, they ask for a tip. Keep in mind, this is a place where you order at the counter. They put your food out on the counter and you go up and get it yourself and they call your number. You get your own drinks and refills. They did not at any point check on us when we were at our table. There weren't any servers or anything like that. What exactly was the tip for? Do they not pay their employees enough or something? I'm genuinely curious...
Anyways, the only reason I'm giving 1 star is because negative stars aren't an option. I'm gonna throw up just remembering...
Read moreAfter hearing so much about this place being an Oklahoma have to try, my husband and I tried it for lunch and were so disappointed! My husband order the Johnnie's burger and it was so loaded with the special sauce that just trying to get it out of the package got sauce all over him, the table, and everything else! It was covered in sauce beyond anything I have ever seen! It was gross! So he took it back to the window to have them fix it! That was after having to wait for way too long for two hamburgers. He got the french fries as a side which were okay, I got the cheeseburger and homemade chips as a side and my burger was okay at best and the chips had a funny taste. It was like it was old oil taste, I am not sure. So we were not happy with the food and that was after paying more than $28 for just two hamburgers, sides and small drinks!!! So the prices are way too high for the quality and quantity of what you get. You can get a much better quality burger other places with actual table side service. Save yourself the headache and mess and go somewhere else! We...

7/9/25 The latest trip to Johnnie’s
The food at Johnnie’s Charcoal Boiler is undeniably solid — perfectly grilled, rich with flavor, and exactly what you hope for when you walk in hungry. But none of that matters when your entire meal is drowned in the stinging smell of industrial cleaner.
As we sat down to enjoy our food, a staff member began aggressively spraying down nearby tables with a cleaning solution so pungent it felt like we were eating in a janitor’s closet. No warning, no ventilation, just a heavy chemical cloud drifting right over our food. Within minutes, the aroma of charbroiled meat was replaced by the sharp, synthetic sting of disinfectant.
We tried to power through, but it was impossible — eyes watering, noses burning, and stomachs turning. It completely killed the experience.
Cleanliness is important, but blasting cleaner into the air during peak dining hours? That’s just careless. We left half our plates untouched, not because the food was bad — it was excellent — but because the environment made...
