Had a horrible experience. Firstly, I will start with the fact that the waiter which will remain nameless. She had a very bad attitude, not very friendly, and the care was a 0 you could def tell she didn't want to be at work. We still kept up with our good attitudes to give her the benefit of hey maybe she had a hard day. But it's no excuse to treat people badly and not be friendly when we are clearly trying to be nice to you. Couldn't get hot tea or hot chocolate because they don't "serve it anymore" not even a "hot water" because it's against their rules apparently. I did without a drink because I was cold and wanted something warm. She comes back with our food after we waited 30 minutes she brings us the wrong food, some to go orders food then we tell her it's not ours and she just takes it back and says oh sorry. Second my son and I got the Bacon Angus cheeseburger meal my son wanted extra bacon never received it, my lettuce was slimy and dark green, so I didn't eat it I threw it off of my burger. So, we said Well whatever there was literally 2 other people in here eating and tons of staff. A man who came in after us ordered his food ate and left before we received ours, but we chalk it up because the lady had an attitude. Strike 3 my husband asked the lady if the cheesesteak bowl had American or cheddar cheese. She replied with Cheddar. needless to say, it was American, and he hates American cheese not to mention his meat was burnt. All of our hashbrowns were cooked to almost a crisp but it was 10pm and we had been at work since 9am this morning with nothing to eat all day. Our total for this meal was $32 we tipped her $8 even with her attitude but I don't pay for service like this and for $40 we could have gone somewhere else and that's exactly what I will...
Read moreIt was terrible. No seating available so the waitress said we could make a coffee why we wait thinking it was complimentary then we were charged 1.80 each I didn't even drink it but a sip and they refused to take off charge then she brought a waffle out first and poured gravy on top of my hashbrowns then the sausage came out when I was already full and my option was toast or buis and gravy only to b charged extra for the gravy 60 cents it was 7.10 for a complete breakfast but my coffee I don't drink and gravy that was option brought it to 10.00 and I asked for hashbrowns that were not covered in gravy and the waitress was rude and imply I got a free hashbrowns I. Didn't eat those either my friend has shell in eggs mine were slyime and it was just a horrible experience not to mention I only asked for a credit for my coffee and denied I should of never paid for my breakfast they screwed up and brought out in sections I don't know about anyone else but I like ketchup on hashbrowns not a pile of gravy and I like to eat my eggs with my sausage not later when my hashbrowns came right before that i like my food same time and they did nothing to Rectify it instead chrg me for gravy and coffee and by the time my correct hashbrowns came I was done eating and she said I gave u a free hashbrowns lol no I paid for them u screwed them up terrible experience nonprofessionals. I haven't been in about 3 years and don't plan to go back felt almost like I got scammed at a waffle house plus they honesty didn't care at all- my order was messed up at least McDonalds they smile and treat u...
Read moreThis review is late coming but it needed to be done.
We were visiting from out of town back in October. We came in the evening time. I came with my two sons and one was having a hard time. He has autism and he is non verbal. We had a long day and I knew he was hungry. We sat down to order and I could tell he was getting close to having an overload. Rare, but it happens. He started to build up with verbal noises, becoming upset, and then starting to cry. The waitresses were so nice. One young lady came over and said that every day she puts credits into the music box and asked if he liked music. I told her what artists he liked and she found songs for him. She told us to use as many as we needed. It held him over until the food got there but it was too late. He was upset, started to get loud and proceeded to then hit himself in the back of the head with his hand. I asked if we could get a box and the check so we could run out (something that is common we have to do.) They did so but what came next completely shocked me. There was no one in the restaurant but us and the cook came up asking if he likes walks. I proceeded to say that he did and he said "If you are okay and he is. If you would like? I can take him outside and walk with him around the building and you can watch." BLOWN AWAY. We love Waffle house. We love Moore. And, I just could not believe just how amazing, accommodating, and patient ya'll we were with us. This is the second time we have gone to that location and we have had nothing but love from your staff. Thank you so...
