I ordered 2 of the new $5 big noon saucy deal. It is supposed to come with 6 piece saucy nuggets a small fry and a small drink. Then i ordered a small chocolate frosty with my 200 pts in the app to redeem them at the drive thru. He scans my app barcode and says ok it took off the frosty. Then i went to start Bucks across the street from Wendy’s and as I’m in line i wanted to reach in the bag for my fries and they weren’t in there. So i call wendys and i say hello i was just up there in the drive thru and i am missing my two small fries and two small drinks. The guy on the phone said “sorry about that just come back and come inside and i will give them to you. I say ok who am i speaking with just in case you go on break or something. He says “well i am just an employee mam” i said ok can i speak with your manager he says yes and put me on hold for about 15 mins and then i hung up the phone cause i was already back in the drive thru. So i say at the drive thru “Heyyy i was just here and you guys forgot my fries and drinks” ! The caucasian manager says okay pull the the first window . Then he see it’s me he said uhh you didn’t order fries or a drinks i said yes it came with my meal. He says no and he says $5 meal just comes with nuggets and i said no sir on your sign at the drive thru says $5 saucy nuggets meal come with fries and a drink and i ordered two of them . I said okay it also says that’s it’s $5 and comes with fries and a drink and i show it to him and i also said i just order this yesterday with the other manager that is in ther right now . Then the manager says bro I’m not giving you free food. . He came to the window and told the other manager that yes he did wait on me and my family yesterday and gave me the deal. Well then the caucasian manager said I’m still not giving them free food. I said bro it’s right here in the app and on your window and on your drive thru sign . I said if it’s not true then just give me my money back he said okay i will and i better give the food back and my frosty . I said ok but my frosty is my pts on my app do i get my pts back he said no call corporate about it. I chuckled and said ok ok i see what’s happening it’s cause I’m black and you think all i want is free food . He said no my other manager is dark skinned . I said he is not black he is Mexican there is a difference. He said if you feel comfortable with a black man performing this transaction i will get my employee to do it. I said no i just want my money back so i can just go get me some food somewhere else. He says no i refuse to give your money back and I’m calling the cops . So i just said to just give me my money back and he said no go and talk to corporate about my refund. Then proceeded to call the cops . So i stay there cause he took my food and my money. So as he calls he tells the coo there is two crazy black people (talking about me and my husband) harassing him in his drive thru window and won’t leave . Like come on now facebook friends this man has my money and my receipt . So 2 Moore police cars show up cause all they heard was 2 crazy black ppl at his window and won’t leave . So I explain to the 2 white cops what’s going on and they said “well we can’t help you because we deal with crimes not fries and this is between me and wendys”. Y’all so in my head I’m like okay so why are you hear. So out loud i say to the cops “this is ridiculous and all i wanted is my money back and that i don’t care about him refusing service to me. He has my food and my money.” And the one of the white cop (short and blond colored hair and blue eyes) said your doing all of this for some fries. So when he said that i already knew they believed nothing i said and honestly didn’t care what i was saying. Then same short white coo caught an attitude and said you can leave . I was so excited to realize that there was a Wendy's so close to my new home, as I am a fan of their burgers as well as their fries, and even though their drinks are not near as good as other places, I figured it would be a good trade-off to be able to have their burger again. Nope. Big mistake. Incredibly rude at the order screen and the girl at the last window acted like I'd asked her to stand on her head, when I requested a straw and ketchup. Then they forgot the cheese sauce that they didn't forget to charge me for, so I had to go back around to go in to get my cheese sauce. There was literally no one else in the store ordering nor waiting on orders inside. There was one car in the Drive-Thru that was still ordering, which is why I chose to come inside... I didn't want my fries and burger getting cold while I waited for them to order pay and get their food. Well not only did I end up waiting, but I waited 8 minutes!! Do you know how long 8 minutes is?? And the part that made me the most furious is that seven or eight people, maybe the same people repeatedly a few times, would walk to the front counter and see me and then turn around and walk away without saying anything. A couple times I saw a face even peek around the corner at me to see if I was still there, but no one would actually help me. I wasn't too concerned with it, as someone had already asked what I needed when I walked up to the counter the first time. But then he came back 8 minutes later, set the cheese sauce down on the counter, no bag, no thank you no apology no nothing and walked away just like everybody else. I really wish companies would realize that their food is only half the battle. Read moreI would give zero stars if I could. Went there today at 12:45 PM, walked in and there was a line of about 9 people. I figured it's Wendy's, shouldn't take too long. Plus there was 5 employees total so they are staffed.. ffwd 15 minutes later and we finally get to order but after waiting for about 3 minutes for the cashier who was walking around, seasoning fries, putting 4 nuggets into the box and had to do some maintenance on the frosty machine or something. She is extremely rude and obviously doesn't care about get job or the company she works for. Actually, the gentlemen in front of us ordered the $5 Biggie Bag and wanted to add a frosty. The cashier immediately went to " NO... you can't do that the meal deals are set you can only get a soda.". The gentleman then said... " I want to add a frosty.. pay for it". She says Oh but not after rolling her eyes at him. She did the same to the gentleman prior as well, same attitude and slow as molasses. My wife orders the 4 for $4, cashier immediately "what sauce?". Wife requested BBQ. I order the 4 for $4 and she just stares at me... So I'm looking at her waiting for acknowledgement.... Wife then says, what sauce? I was like, oh.. what do you have. The cashier rolls her eyes and spouts off the sauces...
I almost just walked out, I don't want to spend money at an establishment who decides to put this type of person as the face of the company. If we didn't already waste 15 minutes waiting to order I would have but my wife only had an hour so I sucked it up and went on.
I will never visit this location again. Possibly never eat at another Wendy's again.
