Hawthorne's is absolutely amazing! It's the one place that I know my son and I will always have a good meal at. So far I've tried the garlic knots that are absolutely phenomenal, the crew pizza (I believe the one with meatballs and banana peppers among other ingredients) which would normally not be for me but it is SO GOOD and surprisingly enough (although maybe it shouldn't be because everything here is AWESOME) their white pizza! I will preface with I personally do not like ricotta so the idea of a white pizza is really not my jam but one of the MANY amazing things about Hawthorne's is that you can get a 12 inch so my husband did that this weekend since he's been wanting to try it for a while and I wouldn't budge UNTIL I actually tried it thanks to Dany, our server. Besides providing amazing service (which honestly, we've always had) she said it was her favorite so my husband ordered it and I went with my safe choice and was absolutely mind blown with how good that white pizza was! If you’re looking for incredible food, top-notch service, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere, Hawthorne’s NY Pizza is the place to go. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The restaurant was spotless—every table and surface was pristine, which made our dining experience all the more enjoyable.

We ordered the Chicken Parmesan Fettuccine Alfredo, a pizza, and the Vodka Penne—and each dish was absolutely phenomenal. The pasta was creamy and packed with flavor, and the pizza had that perfect New York-style crisp with delicious toppings. We also started with the calamari and garlic knots, which were just as impressive—crispy, fresh, and full of flavor.

A huge shoutout to our server Jamie, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. On top of that, the manager even came by to check on us, and was just as amazing—super friendly and genuinely cared about how our experience was going.

Our first time visiting Hawthornes in Mooresville. The pizza was delicious! We got a pepperoni and sausage Sicilian. It was massive. Enough for myself, husband and kid to eat. Plus enough for probably another 2 meals. The dough was cooked perfectly! The garlic knots were perfect. Fluffy and not overly greasy with a wonderful roasted garlic on top. Of course we had to get the waffle fries because… why not? The atmosphere seems very family friendly but I will admit it’s very loud. It was hard to hold a conversation at the table. My only complaint was the service. It was friendly, but our waitress wasn’t very attentive. Sure, they’re new and still working the kinks out but we waited almost 20 mins to pay after our check was delivered. The hostess refilled our drinks because she saw them empty for a while. So I’m sure with time this will only get better! Their bar specials included a $3 draft until the end of august… I’ll definitely be back for that! It was a little more expensive than we wanted but...
