Denny's — Restaurant in Moorpark

Update 5/14/22 ⭐⭐: I don't care for this location anymore. I'll leave my opinions out of it and just deliver the facts.

Staff has changed a lot. 11pm service from a new female server with black hair, Laura?, was some of the best received, highly recommended! No 2-4-6-8 value menu option (others in county offer it) — I studied at a dif location last night a nd ordered the same, here's what I really disliked and why I may not return. Scambled eggs were wet. Bacon was half raw/unevenly cooked and left a lot of yellow grease on the plate. If you cook you know bacon grease isn't yellow-brown. Pancakes were perfect. Syrup container was only half full, the other locations bring it full and I like it because it's reassurance that it was wiped down during covid times.

I used to come here late nights 3x a week to study, then went to a medical internship, studying again, but I think I'll stick to Newbury Park or Camarillo. They're definitely run differently. This location now is an odd duck.

Previous review ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟: The overnight servers are pretty good during the weeknights. The cook that wears a Kahuna hat sometimes is really good at making my eggs. Other cooks seem to think "scrambled hard" means the same as "well done." Scrambled hard means to continue to scramble them while they're cooking until dry. Well done means to cook until turning brown. I don't like my eggs burnt and find it annoying when they screw it up. I'm sure they try their best though, so I never send them back. ...I've been going here to for a distraction free place to study late at night, and I'm appreciative that the manager has never given me a hard time about staying a few hours after I've eaten. It'd be nice if the other servers would be team players and offer refills though. I'd tip them even after paying and tipping my server from earlier. The overnight servers are the only ones that seem to be willing to "work together."....

Hadn't been to Denny's since Simi Valley closed there's on Sycamore maybe 2 years before pandemic, it was 5 star all the time lines all day long.. with due Respect, I was dying for Denny's that long before pandemic, it was during a pandemic drive, just to get out of house w hubby, I noticed OMG Denny's ,Moorpark Dont even know how long it's been there ( my bad) so we went, the Menu was so limited in all B,L,D items , I know there's change, however ,some 30 to 98 yr olds , are still old school, I ordered eggs Benedict ( my bad again) But w diet restrictions @ 57 ,really only item I could enjoy, craving the Holidays sauce.. Literally, curdled, it was so heavy my plate was a bowl of sauce, o.k.. enough, took 45 minutes to get, saw our waitress (Server) one time to get a OJ. & Cafe 15 min after seating,do the math.. I'm being detailed, because, we all have endured a horrific ,& now into 1yr1)2 hard times, in the land of Freedom, I don't think any human life rich or poor was not affected, in some sort of Trial or Tribulations, maybe it was just a bad day, open State again, people ,some that barely made it through so with that I'll go again, not now! Bring backer your numerous skillet choice's! Corned beef hash & eggs my favorite... GOD BLESS All !!! Very rarely have I've given a 1 star ⭐... I hope someone person understands...

I used to love going here with my husband, they always had great service and good food but this last visit was terrible. By far the worst service I have ever had! The waitress Jessica seemed like she didn't want to be there. She had a horrible attitude. To describe my visit, the table we sat on was dirty (after she "cleaned it"). We ordered our drinks and an appetizer and then she came back to take our order.. We waited over 30 minutes and the appetizer and food got to the table, TOGETHER! And still NO drinks. The appetizers were UNDERCOOKED and COLD, and the sandwich bread was very STALE. After 10 more minutes from getting the food we finaly got our drinks and MY CUP HAD LIPSTICK ON IT!! After I told her she rolled her eyes at me and DIDN'T even apologize! She didn't bother making a new one either. She just wiped it off and gave it back! Yuuck!! If I could give it 0 stars I would! I definitely DO NOT...
