Gaby's — Restaurant in Moorpark

I found this gem of a bakery on Google and I was greeted with a nice hello as I walked in. They have a small section of pan dulce individually wrapped near the register, which makes it very convenient. The food smelled really good but I just went in for two pan dulce breads for my visit with my dad. I was traveling from Ventura. I paid and the owner asked if it was my first time here and I said yes. He then offered me a Champurrado and I said sure, I'd love one. And then I mentioned I was just in the area on the way to visit my dad and he offered me an oatmilk. It was a pleasant surprise and truly made my day. When I arrived at my dad's, we enjoyed our fresh pan dulce and our free drinks. Both were absolutely delicious. The owner said he made them fresh each morning. I went today at Gaby's Bakery their server was not great they didn't have a lot of options on the food they were in a hurry to get me out of there because they told me they were going to close real soon I do not recommend this place their rude and not respectful I went back yesterday 9/13/2022 To give them another chance To be honest I don't recommend this place too expensive I went And but 4 burritos The owner was going to charge me Then his son came and told him no The son charged me for 4 burritos $56.00 I told him what Why are you charging me a lot I told him The burrito wasn't even big they were skinny and smallI told him I wanted my money back and I told him to keep his burrito He said No and he had a bad attitudeI don't know how those people are in business treating...

We do not come here as often as we would like since we are on the opposite side of town, but if you're looking for some delicious, quick, authentic Mexican - this is the place. This particular experience, we had a large order of breakfast burritos for a group. Their team was very helpful and accommodating, and fast! Their chorizo is spicy and flavorful. A surprise with the group was their veggies which had lots of layered spices and flavors - super tasty! My favorite was the green salsa for a mild spice. What we love is the ordering is kind of like Chipotle with visible trays of meats, different eggs, veggies, and you just tell them what you want on your burrito, making it quick and highly customizable.
