I drive in the parking lot and i see the chefs are cutting the bushes and cleaning around the trash cans outside. So I walk in the restaurant then I see one of the guys walking in to the restaurant and he sneeze into his hands and he walked in straight in to the kitchen. AMAZING chicken, great tri tip and decent sides. Can't think of a better place for juicy, fresh tasting chicken of the top of my head. Sides don't cost much but are tiny. Refills are not free though they are sometimes nice enough not to charge. Slightly more expensive than your average mexican place, but quality food. This is a small chain of family-owned restaurants across Ventura County, they’re my favorite Mexican bbq. The chicken and tri tip has this great Al carbon flavor, I suggest getting the plate with both these meats. I actually really enjoy the salsa here, I sometimes come here just to buy a cup of it.
