Cook Out — Restaurant in Morehead

The food was cold and nasty. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because my daughter eats here every so often and it has usually been good but last night it was awful. She even said her bacon wraps in the box were slimey so I'm not sure what was up with that but it will be a while before I take her back again if she goes back again. Update I am now taking this review from 2 stars down to one my daughter begged for cookout tonight and after talking to the owner last week and he said he would let the manager know what was going on and get things fixed I gave in and went back to get her one of the trays that she loves. A double burger and bacon wraps and a strawberry cheesecake shake. Got home not 5 mins away from cookout and the shake was like water (and it was in a cold air conditioned vehicle) and instead of a double burger and bacon wraps they had given her a double burger and 2 cajun wraps so the order was wrong and since they were cajun they were so spicey that she couldnt eat them. So that was more money wasted and I tried several times to call the place back to see if they would remake the order or let me bring it back for a refund all together and no one would ever answer the phone..so my daughter can find a new favorite place to eat because cookout will NOT get any more of my...

Went here around 5:00 pm on a Tuesday. The speakers at every single CookOut I've ever been to are terrible. They can't understand you, and you can't understand them. I would really appreciate it if the company looked into getting new speakers. The food itself is fairly priced, slightly lower priced than the other restaurants in the area (KFC, Subway). I ordered a tray with 2 quesadillas, 1 honey mustard wrap, some hush puppies, and a bottled water (Dasani) to drink. The quesadillas were good; they looked a little different than I expected, but still good. The wrap was okay, nothing too special but still decent. There are black specks in the ice in drinks... They have good hamburgers sometimes but those results are rarely consistent. Their milkshakes are too thick to drink out of the straw they give you with it, you need to ask for a spoon. A friend told me she found a hair in her food and she went back up to tell them and the man at the window just look at her and took the sandwich and brought her one without saying a word no I'm sorry or let me fix that for you.
