Subway — Restaurant in Morehead

My experience at this particular Subway has been consistently disappointing. Curbside pickup is a service Subway offers — not a favor. Many customers use this feature for legitimate reasons, such as mobility issues, not just because they don’t want to get out of their vehicle.

(No, the store was NOT busy on any of these three occasions! Yes, this happened three times this month!) This time, after waiting 40 minutes, I called the store. The female employee who answered sounded extremely incoherent and unprofessional, as if she were under the influence of drugs. She said, “Yes, I’m holding it right now,” referring to my order — yet had no intention of bringing it out to my vehicle, despite curbside pickup being the service I intentionally selected! I had to ask her again to bring it out. Again, the store was NOT busy — maybe two customer came and went the entire 40 minutes.

Between the rude service, lack of attention, and cold soggy food, it’s clear this location has serious staffing and management problems. I sincerely hope they begin drug testing...

It’s sad when you go to make a purchase after eating at this location several times in the last few weeks and you get there and they have fresh baked cookies which never hardly happens and you ask for several and even though they are sitting right there they REFUSE to sell them to you because they have to be ice cold and hard. And just a couple days ago we were there again and attempted to use the buy one get free coupon that they send out for the footlongs in the mail and even with 3 workers in there no one could get the coupon to work so they refused to honor it and told us that it was basically our problem and we needed to just pay cash for the subs. But the funny thing was we walked out and told them that they could keep them and went to another Subway location and the coupons worked just fine. Manager is efficient and a good instructor since all the help I encounter prepare sandwiches identically and ask the same questions regarding orders. Facility and bathroom are always clean. After going in twice a week for the same order every time I'm now just asked if it's my usual. For some reason I like that a lot. The other thing I like is that the manager hires what some might consider questionable employees, yet I've never witnessed any incidences or bad attitude (to include young adult ambivalence) that might affect my experience there.
