Avocado Burger — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

I ordered a bowl of chili. Love it. Then I noticed they also had chili with beans on the menu below it. I asked for the chili with beans. The lady inside said they don't have chili with beans option. I said it's out her on the drive-thru menu. She suggested I was lying and I told her to come and look for herself. She declined. She said she'd ask the chef. When she returned, she said okay I can have it with beans. I went home to eat it and when I opened the styrofoam cup, all I saw was REFRIED BEANS. Who uses refried beans in chili? It's always been pint or kidney beans anywhere else and it was logical to think it would be the same there. Upset, I drove all the way back to Avocado Burger, waited in their always slow line, and asked for the manager, which she claimed she was. I told her there was REFRIED BEANS in my chili and asked for a refund. She said there were no refunds. I asked for a replacement with no beans. In a huff, she agreed to that. I of course watched from my car as she went to get me the chili. I didn't trust her because she was so upset that I made her get a replacement order. I wanted to make sure she didn't spit in it or anything else. She looked and saw me watching her just before she poured the chili into the cup. This Hispanic woman had the nerve to be angry with me even though it was THEIR lies (on menu) and mistake that messed up the order! And they didn't have to waste gas or time to get it right! They didn't apologize or offer me a free soda or fries or anything else for all my trouble. And when I got home, I realized they didn't offer me the option of cheese and onion in my chili. All around a TERRIBLE experience in quality, service, attitude, and rudeness. I'll NEVER go back and I used to go...

I went to buy my husband food, I'm not sure if the speaker outside sucks or what but this lady couldn't get my order right having that said I pulled up to pay everything fine than this other girl comes and hands my food and check it and o said excuse it was suppose to be zucchini not fries and she snatched the bag and said what's wrong with it. So I asked to speak to the other lady there and she was rude as well I said I don't know why she has to be so rude to customers and she just looked at the girl . Like seriously if you're not happy with your job go find another one. I asked to speak to a manger and the stated there wasn't one there so I will be calling or going in tomorrow because nobody deserves to be treated like the way she was treating me. I was an avid customer of avocado burger and had frequented this establishment since it was called “Tom’s #1”. I have never had any complaints or bad experiences with the place until the other morning when I stopped by. I had been on a morning run, and was completely dehydrated knowing the good service I normally get at avocado burger I ran inside. I stopped to ask the cashier if “it was possible to get a water cup”. The cashier said it’d be “54 cents for the cup”. I asked “if it would be possible to just use the paper ketchup cups as I just needed a sip because I was so thirsty”. The lady said “no”. Just straight up, with no care or concern I had no money as I was running. I went to just get a couple ice cubes and she went and turned off the machine before I could.
