EDIT, Friday, December 27th, 2024: Looks like this will be another fast-food restaurant I'll be boycotting. Their portion size is decreasing, and, today, I found out their Combo XL plate has jumped nearly 4 DOLLARS, from $10.00 and change, to now $14.86!!! 😳😬 (see receipt photo) I left another franchise for this same reason! Decrease of portion, yet increase in price!! It's too bad, because I like the hired help Jeannette and Kimberly. I'll miss seeing their faces. 😔 I had been frequenting the store at least once a week, for probably over a year now. I like Yoshinoya (what I have always called "Beef Bowl"), and come here maybe once a month, not so much because of their food, or their service, but it's location is out-of-sight/out-of-mind, for me. So I always forget about them, and just stick to my regular haunts. 🙃
I usually get the large beef bowl, with regular white rice, and occasionally get a newer item (for me - it may have been on the menu for awhile), which is the Udon noodles. Very tasty, although a bit dry (not sure if maybe that's how they're supposed to be 🤔🤷♂️), and the portion, or lack thereof, leaves a little to be desired, which is why I only get those, like when I'm craving them.
I'll post pictures of my food, the...
Read moreI want to update my review from 7 years ago. From when I walked in we got attended. For some reason the cashier was being very unwelcoming. I order the combo bowl. Beef with habanero chicken, on brown rice and vegetables. 2 PC spring rolls, udon noodles, and a small chicken bowl. As I finish paying, I just asked can you please make the chicken a little saucer and the beef not so dry. Knowing thatclately they have been lacking sauce on both. She walked away with an attitude, saying I have to pay for extra sauce. I said I know, waiting with my wallet out to pay. Just felt like I bothered her for some reason. I don't know why. I go pick up the food and as soon as she le.aves the bag on counter she just walked away, I had to call her back to get some condiments. She seemed bothered again and this time it showed without hiding it. I go back to sit down. I got dry beef and lacking sauce on the chicken. The upon noodles were cold and dint taste right. It was a bad experience. Luckily I paid for more sauce or else I would've had a dry evening meal. Just not what I expected snd totally opposite of my review 7 years ago. Not the yoshinoya I came to enjoy. Service was bad, food was not recognizable, and it seemed like people there were just angry at the world....
Read moreDidn't have an opportunity to eat my food yesterday so I decided to pay them a visit and ask if the food can be remade for me. They made it difficult, assisted that I needed to call the store day of when I explained to them I wasn't able to (I worked 12 hours in a day) She was asking me to walk into the store when I was readily able to talk to them at the drive through and even hand them my uneaten food from yesterday
I didn't ask for a refund I only wanted my food remade. They still made it difficult and told me that their manager would not allow the food to be remade
So I said ok then give me a refund I'm not satisfied. They then responded they aren't authorized to give refunds but we can remake the food "this time"
Like bro for real? This didn't even need to be an issue in the first place if you had just accepted to remake my food? I'm pretty sure mcdonalds wouldn't mind remaking food. Horrible customer service. Their way of handling business. Retraining is needed. I even said sorry a whole bunch of times in hope they can empathize with the situation. Their customer satisfaction isn't highly valued on their behalf I didn't get her name but the person that spoke with me and made it difficult had a name that...
