Finger Foods — Restaurant in Morgantown

I was just going to leave a blank review but saw the owner really would prefer a written response. There is nothing wrong with this place….It is just average…..Since it’s so unreasonable to believe someone did not enjoy their food enough to not give it “5 Stars” here is my honest review- I love the concept of this Restaurant but overall it is very overrated. We tried the tenders and the Brisket Mac N Cheese Melt which came with a side of fries. Nothing to write home about. The “Brisket” tasted like Lloyd’s Barbecue that you can buy from Walmart heated up with some bland Bob Evans Mac N Cheese over some toast. Fries were also pretty whatever -but at least they were warm and lightly seasoned…. For the price and all of the “5 Star” perfect ratings….this place just did not live up to our expectations. It seems a little suss, like they bought some bots or gave people free food in exchange for them to write nice reviews…..Every legitimate restaurant deals with complaints and a few poor reviews every once in a while. My coworkers and I are always searching for somewhere to order from for lunch. We work downtown and a lot of businesses have closed, and that is sad. It's hard for those of us who work in the downtown area, to find food quickly. So, this week we found this new little place on High Street right next to the Met and we are so delighted that we have a new go-to place to pick up lunch! It's conveniently only a block away from our office! I ordered the shrimp and fries, and it was delicious! My coworkers were all thrilled with their food too. We got large portions of yummy chicken tenders, with a great choice of sauces. The fries were fantastic, to die for! My shrimp was cooked to perfection. I wish we had taken pictures of the tasty dishes we brought back to our office. We will next time, because we're definitely going back! Everyone in Morgantown is upset there's nowhere to eat in downtown during lunch hours anymore- well now there is! You should come on downtown and try out Finger Foods.-Milan Puskar...
