Canvas & Grapes hosted our team building event all I can say is WOW! I don’t even know where to begin. First of all the customer service and communication was top notch! You always speak to the owner, Luis, which makes things so much easier. He’s very friendly and everything is so organized and detailed. They brought their music and sound equipment to our headquarters in Morristown and I’m not talking about a little speaker... they brought an entire professional sound system with large speakers and wireless microphones for karaoke. They bring all the materials and traveled with plenty of artist assistants for our group and everyone was so nice. The best part is the way these guys host. I don’t know how to explain it, it’s like they really know how to engage a group and bring out the best. Everyone was nervous but the way these guys hosted they made everyone want to participate and we all went up to sing. The owner even performed for us and he REALLY knows how to sing. Needless to say we had an amazing time. I will be visiting their studio in Edison even though it’s far for me because I’ve heard it’s totally worth the drive. The owner also mentioned the staff, including himself, puts on a full show for their guests with a full production at their studio and if his singing was any indication of what to expect well then I’m ready! A-MAZING!! From the atmosphere to the actual instruction, and it wasn't gimmicky at all (which is what I expected). The owner Luis, is an well studied and practicing fine artist and his own personal work is the type of high end art work you find in NYC, which I was amazed to find out. The materials are high quality especially the paint, and they are offer clean supplies (very important). So now for the fun part. Can we talk about the music?! Omg they have customized playlist for almost any audience. They even do karaoke and you can dance, well it really all depends on how much of a good time your willing to have with them but they certainly put on a show that makes you feel like you got your monies worth. I have been to both locations and I can honestly say I will be a repeat costumer. I can not decide which location I like more, the Edison location or Morristown. Each place has its own unique look while still retaining a classy ambiance. It is amazing how the artist break down the painting you will be making (particularly for people like me who are not artistic).
