O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Morristown

The food tasted good, however that is the end of the positives for this review.

I am having difficulty even thinking about where to start. The backstory is we had a large party visiting from out of state and wanted to eat decent.

I attempted to do call ahead seating, and was told that O'Charleys doesn't accomodate call ahead seating.

However my sister called and made reservations for our party of 12. The gentleman who answered the phone was less than enthusiastic to help.

We arrived to a sticky table, ok it happens no big deal until we were offered a rag so we could clean our table. Yeah if I wanted to do that I could have eaten at home.

Followed by a rack of ribs that consisted of 6 total ribs, some confusion and a manager insulting my grandmother. They did end up bringing 5 more ribs.

The manager at the location was absolutely horrific. As he stated didn't write and was unfamiliar with the menu or prices. I may be wrong, I have never worked in the restaraunt industry but I am fairly certain that is part of a manger's job.

My order was completely botched from wrong entrees to an over cooked but flavorful steak. This overcooked steak was admitted to by the manager, but I didn't ask for anything or a replacement. The second person that ordered a steak also was overcooked but flavorful as well. The initial bill came out incorrectly. The whole dinner in general was an absolute mess.

By the way we did not ask for discounts refunds or replacements, what we did ask for was an apology to my grandmother for the way she was talked to. We paid the full correct price plus a tip for what we ordered.

To sum it all up dinner at O'charley's turned into an insulting comedy of errors of which I have no intenetion...

We have been visiting this O'Charley's since they have opened. The atmosphere is always decent enough. The food is always okay. My particular issue with the food is more of an issue with the business and not with the people preparing it. For example, the garlic steak Alfredo doesn't mention that it has peppercorn seasoning on it. So my daughter had to try to pick off most of it so it wouldn't be as "spicy." There always seems to be surprises with the food like this.

Last night's visit was overall good. It was Valentine's Day evening. Our waitress was slightly forgetful but was sweet and polite and pleasant.

The rolls were very flat last night, not sure what the issue was there. They tasted okay but we're slightly hard and not as fluffy as they normally taste.

Overall, we will be back because we buy the $50 after card at Sam's club for $39.98 so it makes it more affordable as a family to eat out.

(My spinach covered salmon was delicious and worth every penny also!!!, My teen enjoyed her Garlic Steak Alfredo -minus the spicy factor that wasn't mentioned on the menu. Also the steak portion in the pasta was rather small for the $18.99 price. My other two smaller children got an adult steak meal and corn dog meal to share and they enjoyed them, I actually tried one of the corn dogs and a bite of their mac and chsse left over and it was very good! I do wish they had a kid's meal steak...

O'charley's what happened? I'll start by saying my wife and I went in at 2:15 p.m. and was seated, we waited 15 mins from the time we were seated until our server came to start us with drinks. Once we ordered drinks we waited another 7-8mins before our drinks and bread were brought to the table. Remind you there was only two tables sat at the time in our servers area so it wasn't even close to being busy. We ordered our food, my wife got the "endless" soup (fully loaded potato soup) , salad and bread and I ordered the half club sandwich with the fully loaded potato soup. Once our food came my wife's potato soup had NO potato at all and mine had two little chunks. We couldn't tell our server as she was nowhere to be found. Then my wife finished her "endless" salad and bread (didn't like the soup) and the waitress never came over once to refill bread, salad, drinks or even ask how we were doing. Finally once she came back to us we complained about our potato soup and she gave us an excuse to why there wasn't potato in it. Again there never once was refills on anything the entire 45mins we were there. It took another 10mins to get our bill, once our bill came she didn't even bring it, another waitress brought our bill and told us she had no idea why she didn't want to bring the bill. We will...
