I went here to donate items. There was a large box that was quite heavy full of assorted items. This gentleman tried to help me but he was very impatient. I kept telling him this is a heavy box and it would be best if he had a flat cart for us to put it on. He instead brought out cart with very high walls which would have made it difficult to put the box in without putting myself at risk. Then he brings out a dolly and tells me I have 1 minute to put the box on because he has something else to take care of. I asked for a receipt and he said it'll take 10 minutes because he has something else to take care of. So I stood, patiently but he never came back. Luckily some other lady asked me if I needed help and I told her all I needed was a receipt. Hopefully for those of you who decide to donate with them you'll have much better luck than I did. I will never go back to...

There is an employee here who is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. Let’s call her Goodwill Grace. The whole store turned around twice within five minutes because she was yelling at shoppers. Extremely disappointed in her behavior. Goodwill Grace is a senior citizen who was walking around with another employee (Goodwill Gayle) talking about her daughter and her dog but took ample time to yell at an older man about being “too close” to a register and then a little kid for being under a clothing rack (like all kids do) because of a “safety hazard”. I was on the opposite side of the store and I heard this. That’s how loud she was. Ridiculous!

Good luck shopping here if Goodwill Grace is in the building. I hope I never have to deal with her!!!

They are experts at utterly destroying what would otherwise be perfectly nice items. And don't worry - they won't write the prices on a part of the item that can be easily cleaned. They'll scribble that price on there in bold black marker right on the fur or the leather itself. No need to worry about ever getting it out - that thrift store price is there to stay! So come on down to Goodwill Industries of North Carolina, where they mark up donations to astronomical prices and then etch those prices into the items for eternity, ruining them for anyone who might...
