No. Just no.
If you've ever been to a domino's, you know what to expect (and if you haven't, run. RUN!), so this review is more about this particular location than the domino's franchise.
Ordered a pizza from here the other night, and was planning to pick it up after going to lowe's. By the time I got there, it had been 20 mins since I ordered, and I hadn't received an email confirmation yet, so first I made sure they received my order.
There were 2 kids working the counter - one looked like he was about to have a nervous breakdown, the other one seemed to know what he was doing. He looked up my order and told me it would be ready in about 8 minutes - no big deal, I could wait.
Then I noticed their electronic sign said it would be 44 minutes until my pizza was ready, so I asked him about it, and he said the sign was wrong, and it would be ready shortly, so I went back to waiting.
12 minutes go by, and he waves me to the counter - I think I'm getting my food! Nope, he just wanted to tell me it would be 5 more minutes. Bummer, but I'd waited that long, I could wait 5 more minutes. After-all, he assured me it would only be 5 more minutes.
8 minutes go by (20 minutes waiting total, 40 minutes since I ordered), and I go to ask about my order again. This time, another kid is at the counter - he looks up my order and says they haven't even started making it yet.
What. The. Absolute. Fudge!
So I cancelled my order and went to Marco's up the street - should've gone there to begin with. Their pizza is MUCH better than Domino's.
I understand places get busy, but when you're over an hour behind on take-out orders, you don't put people up front to LIE to customers. The manager here should be ashamed. Update: to the owner that responded to me - I have been to this location since that bad experience, and haven't had any issues since then.....until the last time I went, about a month ago. The pizza was so bad, I only ate two slices and instead of posting a negative review here, I just contacted Domino's themselves and asked if they had a satisfaction guarantee, because I was willing to bring the rest of the pizza back, even for a partial refund.
I was contacted by the area supervisor and he sent me some coupons for free pizzas, but I haven't bothered using them yet because what good is free pizza if it's not good?
2 areas I can suggest improving on - 1) don't burn the pizzas; 2) when someone ordered extra/double cheese, actually put extra/double cheese on it. A couple days after my last order, I went to a get-together at a friend's house in Raleigh and he ordered pizza hut, and despite it being delivered and sitting on the counter for a while by the time I got there, the cheese pizza was still warm, cheesy and delicious, especially compared to what I got from y'all. Pay attention to these 2 things and I will...
Read moreHorrible experience! I see why now after reading all the terrible reviews especially about management. I called because I’m new to the area and I had a certificate for a free large pizza. Decided to order some wings with it also. Lady on the phone said she can’t take the order and I need to speak to a manager. After being on hold for 20 minutes it disconnected me. I called 6 more times with no one answering so I decided to drive to the store. Otw to the store someone finally answers. The same lady answers and says she is able to take the order now.?? Why didn’t you take my order the first time??? With no apology and only attitude takes my order. After arriving the lady at the register had no idea about my terrible experience..all complete lies!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION AND I would reconsider ordering from domino’s in general. Please stop using excuse after excuse like they said on the phone “our phone line is crap” “we are under staffed” “we are just really busy.” Just own up to your mistake. Also, I’d like corporate to contact me for a refund. As you can see in the picture would you eat this? Would you trust eating food with people that 100% don’t care? Stop making excuses and either step up or...
Read moreThis particular Domino’s location makes great food they serve the food hot and cooked properly!! The only concerning issues that I have with this location is the fact that I sat in my car and witnessed through the front glass door and the windows a staff of at least 7 people with only 1 person having gloves on, no one else that is handling food in the store had gloves on! out of the 7 staff there were only 2 people wearing masks! Since we are still currently in a calmed down pandemic, I believe that this is important enough to mention to ownership so that immediate changes can be made. At this time food should not be prepared without the proper tools and sanitary necessities being utilized. Also, some of the staff have beards, mustaches and long hair, none of them are wearing beard nets, or hair nets or face coverings to protect hair from landing in the food! Lastly, I witnessed someone digging in their ear, and another person digging in their nose. PLEASE OWNERSHIP, look into this and fix it with urgency or I know for a fact I definitely won’t be back. If necessary, I will contact the appropriate division to handle it. Thank...
