My husband and I tried this place today for the first time and we were impressed! Donuts are amazing but a bit pricey. I tried the chocolate icing and my husband had a blueberry biscuit both of which we enjoyed. According to my husband the biscuit was very moist, not dry at all and the blueberries were just the right amount of sweet. Biscuit was reasonable size. If you are a fan of chocolate like myself you will love the chocolate icing donut I could’ve had two! We both had the spicy chicken biscuit which was decent. It was almost as big as my infants head! (ok maybe not that big but a pretty fair size) they will fill you up for sure. It could’ve done without the jalapeños though, it was a bit much and I felt like it overpowered the sauce it already had on it. The hush puppies were to die for!! It’s a must to get along with your biscuit. Not your traditional kind. They have cheese inside and as soon as you bite into it, it just melts in your mouth such a soft texture full of flavor!! It’s the second thing I enjoyed the most first being the donut and last being the biscuit. They only come in a four count though wasn’t enough for us to share haha! Will definitely be getting more next time we go. The place is mostly for grab and go I would say as there isn’t much space to sit down and eat besides outside. Biscuits are reasonably priced but drinks and other small items are overpriced. A coffee & water were $3 each while the donuts are nearly $2 I must say they are worth every bite though. I was satisfied as so was my husband and will be coming back to try other things on the menu. Overall a good place to try if you’re looking for something new!

Quick review: Great donuts, friendly staff with great customer service, clean location that is easily accessible. Longer review: Rise is a life-saver! I had a bad case of the Monday’s and was running late for work. The problem is, I was supposed to bring donuts to a meeting, and the place near work I was planning on picking them up at is closed on Mondays. I called Rise to confirm that they would be able to have enough donuts for me to take, as some donut shops I’ve been to before to run out. I spoke with a very pleasant gentleman on the phone, and he assured me they would be able to take care of me. I arrived a few minutes later and placed my order. He immediately handed the order over to me! Just based off of our conversation he had gone ahead and prepped my order without me asking him to and had it ready: I was in and out within two minutes. I show up at work, everyone loves the donuts, and I was on time because the Rise team went the extra mile and got me on my way. I would have included a picture of the donuts, but we ate them all too fast

I cannot overstate how great and fresh the food from Rise is. I typically do not like using a tablet in-store to order but their system works very well and there is always an employee nearby to answer questions. In this case, the electronic ordering leaves them to do what they do best which is make some AMAZING chicken and biscuits. All the food ingredients are incredibly fresh and you honestly get the sense that they care and take pride in what they do...and they should. Their cinnamon rolls are delicious and unlike any I've tried elsewhere (I think they use the same dough that they use for biscuits) and they always have great tasting donuts. The only negative I can say is that they stopped making my favourite type of donut and that if you are looking to eat there, the soda machine is currently out of service and only have bottles available. They open early (be aware they also close by 2pm) and it's likely the freshest, best food you'll find in the morning. The price is just right and the quality is consistent.

First someone forgot to put my jelly and butter in my bag. . . . . but guess what I didn’t even remember I had requested it until I went to put the bag in the trash lol. Anyway, to those that don’t know, a good biscuit does not require additional condiments for flavor or texture, anyway. I don’t know where to start so I might ramble a bit. The Cheese grits. A delectable treat and must try. I can’t cook good grits to save my life. The Honey Hot or Hot honey chicken on the buttermilk biscuit with a touch more baking powder is reminiscent of my grandmothers (RIP) but way more how do you say . . . fluff. All I needed was so Black Strap Molasses and I’d be showing up there in a wedding gown, veil, heels and some flowers saying I’s married now, where’s my groom (wink wink). I have ordered 2 days in a row, if you see my name on an order tomorrow 6/27/24 please call me a tell me the church van is broke down because I am still trying to lose those pesky 18lbs from the COVID shutdown lol. To the owner, I hope you have a good marketing team, because I will not be sharing my experience with anyone because I am selfish and do not want any of my family, friends, or distant acquaintances learning about this GEM (SIKE). But to those reading this, Rise is an experience not an eatery. Prepare yourself before you go – do not drink any fluids and wear loose clothing. I dare not visit in person. ...

I have not had a decent donut here yet. Today I paid just under $2.50 for an air pocket with powder sugar on it. The service is not the best and I have had a couple of major order issues. I do like their sausage gravy and biscuits. I also like their chicken sandwiches. I rarely go here anymore, but I test it occasionally to see if they fix their issues. Update .... I tried rise again today and I have decided to not waste my time and money with a place so poorly ran. They changed the sausage gravy and biscuits. You get a biscuit drizzled with gravy. The gravy has also changed with no flavor. All of this and you get to pay more. My chicken sandwich was ordered with pickles and I received pickles and jalopenos. I like jalopenos but a mistake or lack of attention is unacceptable. Their "hush puppies" are mash potato logs with a hint of cheese. I have been drawn to rise by the unique menu, but flavor, execution, and lack of in stock items makes for a disaster of a meal. I literally was given a sandwich without the chicken because they ran out of chicken. Yet they took my order and never informed me. They need more integrity....
