I have had mixed experiences with the customer service at this establishment, a lot of which has been deplorable. I've been on the fence with deciding to write this review, but today is what sparked me into writing this.
A lot of the employees seem to not care about their job, as if they're not passionate about it. They will roll their eyes at customers in response to questions or inquiries. They don't seem to care about their co-workers, only caring about themselves. I don't normally name and shame because it's incredibly unprofessional; however, I want to stress the importance of customer service so Panera can figure out what's going on. I won't list last names.
An employee named Tinae has been very rude to customers, rolling her eyes when asking about the status of another employee. This specifically happened when a customer was picking up another employee from work because she was sick, and when asking about where she was, she retorted with very rude behavior to this customer.
Today, I came in with a friend to inquire about the status of another employee we're friends with, only for an employee named Lauren to snarkily retort with "I don't know who that is" and kept walking. We had to politely ask her to come back and see if they were available.
During the same visit while waiting, I witnessed an older lady drop her mug on the ground only for an employee named Connor to use the bottom of his foot to stop it from rolling and not offer to pick the mug up for her.
I have personally developed a disdain for coming to this location because I want to avoid certain employees there just because of the passive aggressive attitude they show. This is not at all how employees should treat customers. The customer service at this establishment most resembles the comment section on YouTube, and that's honestly...
Read moreI would frequent this location but today I ordered a cookie with a soup. Midway into eating the cookie I found that a few curly hairs had been accidentally baked into it when pulling back from my bite. Yes I gagged and threw up immediately. As I understand mistakes happen I quietly re-entered to ask for a refund of the $3.49 cookie to not make it a big deal. He then went "you found what?" While smashing the cookie up through the pack to inspect it. He said nothing else. The response was instead to just reach over in a lackluster manner on the rack up front and just hand me another cold cookie that may have been from the same batch? It was careless and I don't appreciate that. I dont even know if the older gentleman who did this was the manager but if so this is why people give food places a bad rep. It's the service. Mistakes happen but fix it right. I didn't catch his name bc I was baffled that he'd just say "here another one" without care. He had a cap and grayed hair and looked like he didn't even want to be there. No smile no nothing. Thank God I didn't spend more than necessary bc I happened to have a gift card from my work. I'll stick to cooking my own food, thought I could just stop by for a quick bite in-between work but now I'm sick to my...
Read moreI had a horrible experience at panera today. I can't believe a person can have enough heart to be that unprofessional to do what she's done. As I walked inside, the cashier (Carol)greeted me and I greeted her back and then she imitated me mocking at my religion and face veil(you would have had to be there to see what she's done and in my face and in public). She burst out laughing on the front line and then asked me how can she help me. My friend and I looked at eachother and decided to walk out. I let my friend know that I was going back in to speak with a manager because she just discriminated against me and that is unacceptable and unprofessional. I spoke to the manager and informed him what happened which she tried to deny, however my friend saw the while thing happen and she let the manager know exactly what the lady did to me. The manager was very apologetic about the situation and offered me something to eat and let the lady know to go to the back and he will speak to her in private. Is it that much hate in people's hearts that they are religiously attacking people in public now while at work. I loved going to Panera bread but after this situation, I won't go anymore. People are getting too bold and...
