My husband chanced upon this restaurant while looking through Uber eats options. The menu looked exciting especially the Bamboo biryani so we decided to dine in instead. Heads up that this is located where Paradise was and they still have to update it with a permanent sign. Let me just start by saying that the RTP area has a lot of Indian restaurants but I miss a good balance between taste, flavors, and healthy food. This restaurant really surprised us and exceeded our expectations. We ordered hara bhara kebab, kadhai paneer, tandoori roti, paneer bamboo biryani, and chikoo kulfi. We loved everything. The hara kebab is perfect if you like a low on oil, melt in the mouth appetizer with flavors on point. My usually pet peeve about curries in Indian restaurants is the cream they add to curries. The kadhai paneer was tasty with well balanced spices and no cream. Tandoori roti was soft and fresh. Rumali roti is the best I have had in US; compliments to the chef for this! Highlight was the bamboo biryani that was served in a hot bamboo. Each bite of biryani was moist and the spices came through without being overpowering. I loved that the dished were not greasy. If you miss the authentic chikoo kulfi from India you need to try this place now because I am definitely going back for more of this dessert. We also did a take out for non vegeterian dishes including chicken angara, special maharaja chicken curry, vijayawada chicken boneless biryani. Chicken was fresh and juicy something that is a miss in. lot of Indian restaurants. The smoked flavor in the appetizer was amazing. Biryani was again one of the best I have best I have tasted in this area. The ambience is same as old Paradise restaurant and could use an upgrade in the long run. This place could easily be an upscale restaurant with all the good food. I really hope more people try it as we felt that not many people know about it; we definitely didn't know about it until last week and it opened in December. P.S. The staff is very polite. And this is not a paid review!

Very very bad experience in Morrisville NC, I have lived in this city last 15 years, but never had this type bad experience in my life. Jacab, is the person, who is working over the counter he is very rude no respect to the customers. I have order first time taste the bamboo biryani on this place, called ordered One panner bamboo biryani for to go. While picking the order I asked him as ‘can you give me extra salon and Raita’ he said it will cost extra money. I said okay. Then I have open the my to go box and checked the salon box and Raita was I filled half. So I requested to give me same size boxes with full. But Jacab said , I need to ask with ‘Please’ word instead of can you give extra raita. I have said that why should i use the Please Word , I will pay extra money for that. I have argued with him left the restaurant and came home, open the biryani, it was panner curry was filled with little rice. (see the pictures) it was not even sufficient for one person. they have charged for this order $18 + Tax. and for extra Salon they are charging $6. Biryani is with panner butter masala filled in Bamboo. I will never return to this restaurant again. will stop all my friends and families.

I would not recommend this restaurant to vegetarians. Food was not at all up-to the mark. Very expensive we ordered the following items: Mirchi Bhaji ($10 6 small pieces ): first they served it was Luke warm to touch and I complained about it they took that inside heated it and brought back to us. But it was tasting weird. Hara bhara kabab($12 5 or 6 pieces ): do not order this. Not at all tasty. I felt eggy too. Bread basket($10 4 different breads): heavily burnt rotis only front side looked good rear side of the rotis were absolutely burnt and could feel the burnt carbon taste(refer the photo) Not worth it. Tomato papu($13): edible by adding some salt Rice: The panir dish and pappu comes with aromatic jeera rice. It was good made with good quality basmati rice. Mango lassi ($4): it was good. Would recommend it. All together $74 and most of the food is going to go into dustbin. I hate to waste food and we thought it’s good restaurant looking at the reviews but looks like it not meant for vegetarian. Please save your money try somewhere worth the money. I am giving 2 stars only for service and waitress was really nice to us otherwise I would have given -1.

This use to be a great place to dine in!

Thinking that it has been a while since we ate at this restaurant, i used Uber eats and ordered 5 items that included methi garlic paneer. My order was delivered on time. The baby corn Manchurian looked soggy, i told myself, may be because it's a take out!

And then I did not see the methi garlic paneer, i checked and double checked. Nope, not there! I checked my order that was hand written on a as piece of paper and pinned to the delivery bag, it had all 5 items.

In the next 2 min, i was on the phone with a sweet talking lady only until i told her my problem, there was a change in her tone and said " I'm not sure ". I asked her what i should do, same answer again and blamed Uber eats hinting that somehow they opened the bag and just took the paneer and the rice that came with it and packed it back beautifully and delivered it me. She said it was a third party app and she wasn't sure. She was pretty sure she packed it all at the same time she mentioned the restaurant was super busy. Not one time she said it may, may have been Miss on their side. I told her this was bad service and since i have already paid for it I have a right to report, she said "sure".

After this i am looking at all the bad reviews for the restaurant especially on the service and reception, I'm not surprised!

We use to love this restaurant ( dined twice a year ago) and the gentleman owner was nice!

Sad that they don't care about service anymore. I promptly called Ubereats and they reimbursed my money for the missing item in 30...

We had a poor experience at this restaurant and here’s why. We went at about 2:30, 30 mins before the closing time. We asked a for a kids meal and a few tandoori appetizers. The tandoori appetizers were all conveniently not on the menu probably because it was close to the kitchen close time. The server kept pushing for a Chicken appetizer that’s really the best dish on the menu. We ordered a couple of other appetizers including Apollo fish and the Fried Prawns. The Chicken appetizer came out cold, to our surprise and then fish was chewy prob because it had been refried. The only thing that was decent we’re the prawns which had no taste. On asking about the chicken and fish, the server nonchalantly said it’s like this only. We then asked for a yogurt because the children’s food was spicy as hell, when we especially asked for no spice. We also ended paying a automatic gratuity for a party of 5 instead of the regular 6 and ended up getting charged 5 dollars for a bowl of yogurt. All in all it felt like we were getting ripped off for poor quality food and with a big note to self that going to a restaurant with the kitchen close time is not a good idea even though there was only 1 table occupied in the...
