Grew up in Texas having TexMex all the time which is its own style. Have had great food in Mexico. Las Torres have elote (street corn), which I tried. No lime, no cilantro, super tiny cup for $2.75, and it was barely even warm, pretty flavorless. I can make better myself from memory, and I don't cook.
Also got a Chile relleno, which was wrapped in a scrambled egg for some reason. I mean, it's what the menu said, but it was 70% egg, 30% relleno. It didn't even look like a whole chile was used it was so small. Very small portions of rice and beans for the price, which I wouldn't mind if they were at least somewhat flavorful. Corn tortillas that came with it were fine. No plasticware provided....
