I placed an online order about a week ago. Four of the $5 chalupa boxes( a chalupa supreme, a taco, a 5 layer burrito, an order of cinnamon twists, and medium drink in each box ), 2 bean burritos and 3 tostadas no chipootle sauce. When my husband went to pick it up, they told him they had no online order. He called me, and while we were on the phone a young man asked him if he was there to pick up an order. He told him that he was and proceded to get it and leave. The order was a mess. There were 6 bean burritos, not 2. The other 4 were supposed to be 5 layer burritos as they were part of the chalupa boxes. We had no cinnamon twists. No big deal for me as I dont like them, but my 87 year old dad loves them. Also, my tostadas were loaded with chipotle sauce, so I couldn't eat them. The next day, I called to speak with a manager about our experience. I spoke with a lady who said she was the manager. I told her about my order, to which she replied "okay". I explained that we were missing food, and about the other items which were made wrong, to which she again replied "okay". So then, I suggested to her that I had the items that were made wrong and could bring them back, but I would like to have what was messed up replaced, to which she agreed. She "wrote" down the items to be replaced, and said that she would post them on "the board" so that we could have them replaced on our next visit. I gave her my name and I thanked her and hung up. Last night, I called Taco Bell, as a courtesy, to let them know that my husband would be coming to get our replacement items. A young woman answered. I began to explain the situation, and before I could finish, she said "your name isn't on our board." WHAT ?!? I hadn't even given her my name at that point ! She then asked me what was to be replaced, so I told her and she replied "what manager did you talk to?" I told her that I didn't get her name, but that it was a lady. To which she informed me that they have 2 lady managers and right now, one was off today and the other was on vacation and I should call back when they are there. To which I replied that in the first place, I don't know their schedules, and in the second place, they weren't required to be there when my order was messed up, but they have to be there to fix it?!? She then let out a sigh and told me to hang on. She put the phone down and I waited . . . and waited . . . and waited. No one ever came to the phone, so I hung up, and called the corporate number. I am currently awaiting a call back. This could have been so easily resolved by just replacing my food. I only wanted what I felt was owed to us, what I paid for. I dont believe that was an...
Read moreThe breakfast experience:
I like to get breakfast from taco Bell and this is the most convenient location for my commute. However, they do not serve coffee, despite it being on the menu and in the mobile app for ordering. They also consistently give me cinnabon bites when I specifically ask for hashbrowns. In regards to the coffee, I spoke with the cashier and she explained the coffee machine has been broken for 2 YEARS and they don't know when they will fix it.
Update: I submitted a complaint to Taco Bell officially after a third attempt at getting coffee in a two week period. Never received a response. But I did go back a week later. They attempted this time to serve me coffee, however the server told me she didn't like the way it looked and showed me what came out of the machine. It was an opaque brown instead of black, then offered me the typical alternative. I politely declined and took a Pepsi since I had already paid. Fourth time a charm maybe?
The lunch experience: I went back a week later for lunch, ordered the $5 fill up. No one was at the register to take my order. So I walked to the other side of the counter after a couple minutes so they could see me from the office. Stood for another minute. Then finally I hear from the kitchen, "who's got the counter?". I walk back to the register and a an employee walks in through the front door, hands full of trash and throws it out, then rings me up, hands me a cup, and walks off. I grab my drink, sit down at the table and wait for my name. Took them 10 minutes to fix my order. I was the only person in the restaurant and I know for a fact no one was at the drive thru. I do know that there was one attendant at the drive thru, a manager in the office with an employee, the employee who rang me up, and at least a 5th in...
Read moreSo today boys and girls or the like... what is it that you do something over and over and still do not get the right results? Oh Yeah thats being stupid... Little did i know.... a whole new set of people working here... did not see one that i have seen before.... Did they get my order correct..... Nope... i think it has to do where they assume that ithey just see the beginning part of the words soft taco... and they dont read the rest of it to see what to put on it or not to put on it..... had to order another taco, combine 2 into 1 just to get a regular size taco.... what is going on here? Training? Or just blatantly going to the extreme minimum?
I didn't learn my lesson.. i figured if i waited a few months i would get new workers and the problem would have disappeared, but no... it got worse. Again I paid for extra beef on a soft tacos, I had a feeling so I ordered 3. This way I could combine if they did not put it on correctly.... so $7+ for a soft taco at Taco Bell once again.

I try to give the benefit of doubt to this restaurant... I want to say great job.. I really do... but it never fails... either they skimp me out of the extra beef I pay for... add lettuce to my son's tacos... or completely forget to add the tacos... yes it's partially my fault for not checking the bag to make sure all is included.... I shouldn't have to.... or unwrap everything to check...... it should be there... my son loves taco bell.. loves it.. go there 2-3 times a week... I live on the other side of the county away from them... so it's not like I just turn around 5min later... I worked at a fast food restaurant as a teen... I know how it use to work... and God forbid you call this taco bell and complain... to much revenge food making...
