Let me start off by saying I would never spend my own money at Burger King. But my fiance wanted to pull through the drive-thru and order the 2 for 10 whopper meal. I knew there was a small chance that this location/crew had the ability to provide me a delicious meal.
Heres the positive: Every opourtunity the crew had to provide 5 star service was utitlized, my coke freestyle exclusive drink was tasty, and my fries were hot.
Heres what went wrong: The whopper patties were old and nasty due to the fact that Burger King higher-ups put too much of an emphasis on speed of service. Forcing managers and crew members working at specific locations, in which most are understaffed, to cut corners in order to meet a set speed of service goal. Burger King should be focusing their time and assets on how to make it a desirable place to eat while at the same time considering speed of service. Burger Kings higher management needs to figure out what they are trying to achieve and take their team to the drawing board. There are plenty of ways to make Burger King a desirable place to eat. Doing so would lead to more sales. Its a win/win situation.
In conclusion: Burger King has the opportunity to serve some of the tastiest food out of all their competitors in the existing fast food industry if they just focused more on the food and not so much on the fast. Burger King will continue to weed itself out of the industry until its higher mamagement impliments intelligent, thoughtful, and progressive changes which are necessary for the continuity...
Read moreMy Mom and I went here, there were barely any customers, after waiting behind the 1 car in the drive thru for nearly 5 mins, we decided to just go in. It took my Mom over 10 mins to get our two simple small meals! I know BK probably doesn’t pay their staff very well, but isn’t it supposed to be fast food? We didn’t plan to eat there, but due to being short on time and hungry, opted for what we thought would be a quick meal. Not so🙃 Further, my Mom witnessed the manager handling money with her bare hands, then immediately handling food/putting fries into bags and whatnot. No hand washing, no gloves! I’m not some germaphobe or whatever, but have worked for many restaurants all over Minneapolis; it’s common knowledge that if you handle cash, smoke, use the restroom, take out the trash, handle raw foods, clean stuff, etc, you always wash your hands and/or wear fresh sanitary gloves before handling and serving food to customers! Never thought I’d take the time/use the energy, to complain about poor service from a fast food chain, but this place is bad enough to warrant it! I used to like Burger King on the rare occasion I eat fast “food,” it’s no wonder most of them have now disappeared… Avoid this place if you can! Far better options! There’s an Aldi across the road, go get some reasonably priced(and undoubtedly healthier) food and know that it’s not handled with dirty hands by people who have no sense of pride in their work ethics… Guess I’ll just stick to Chipotle and the occasional...
Read moreUpdating my review from 3-4 years ago: This location has truly turned around and is now amazing. No long wait times, food is hot and fresh and friendly staff. They are very willing to make things right even in user error (I accidentally removed the bun from my burger when online ordering once and they were quick to give me a toasted bun and offered to put the contents on for me). Emily (the new owner) and the crew are awesome. If I could give 10 stars I certainly would. Keep up the great work!
Old review: 3 strikes and you’re out.. I have tried this place 3 times now and each time it’s extremely disappointing. The first time it didn’t take long to get the food but it was cold. The second time it took 30 minutes and the food was mildly warm. Mind you there were 4 other cars waiting as well, still that’s a long time for 2 burgers and 2 fries. This time is the last time. I was the only one there and was asked to pull to the front. Okay, no big deal. 10 minutes later and the food comes out. I was thrilled about not having to wait 30 minutes like the last time. I live about 1.5 minutes from this location and by the time I got home everything was cold. The fries tasted as if they’d been sitting out for hours. Why does it take so long to get cold and potentially old food?! I honestly don’t even understand how this location is even in business. Maybe they should close down or look into new management because that place is a...
