We visited this location over the years many times and never had a good encounter we came back because it is 5 minutes from our house. No longer will they see our business. 3/04/25 We stopped in for a simple very simple order of Italian Cheese bread, we asked for a fresh one. GERALD took our order, ZERO CUSTOMER service skills. No greeting or welcome how may we help what can I get you HOT - N- Ready today nothing not a hello. We witnessed GERALD handle the cash register and walk to the back kitchen not washing his hands and making food, no hair net (his hair is longer than 2 inches except the top balding area), and very uncleanly. We waited 15 minutes for the request we paid for and when we asked for the sauce GERALD grabbed two sauces from the back ignoring us completely requesting sauce set them on the counter behind the register and went to the back kitchen. Another gentleman who was working finally assisted us with the sauce. It does not matter what people request or pay the fact we pay to eat out and dealing with this behavior by employed people is an embarrassment. Took us 3 days to reach the store manager and of course, all they want to do is buy you a meal or refund your order, Some things CAN NOT be fixed with free things/refunds. As an RGM of restaurants and manager in customer services 10plus years, I was appalled. Eat at your own risk of food-borne illnesses. I do not like complaining but awareness of unsanitary food should be exposed. Cash register dirty money to food is...
Read moreThis is the second time I've been to this location. The first time was a Friday evening. There were seven employees behind the counter - 1 sitting on a chair by the cooler joking and teasing the other employees who was apparently off duty - two in the prep area, two at the oven area, one at the cash register and one in the cooler. There were four customers waiting to be helped including myself. The lady in front of me had phoned in an order that wasn't processed. I'd phoned in an order that went out to someone else. The gal behind the counter didn't seem to know how to run the cash register, how much the sauces were (there is a sign right on them) or how to work with customers. The pizza line employees were throwing dough back and forth and joking and laughing. Whether they actually got any work done is questionable. I waited 20 minutes for a pizza that should have been ready.
Tonight, I walk in prime time. There is one other customer in the shop. There are four people behind the counter/in prep areas. There are absolutely NO pizza's ready to go out the door and yet again, the gal behind the cash register seemed to be brand new at the job.
I'm self employed and figured the owner might want to know a little bit about what goes on in his shop. Trying to find any information on who actually owns this outlet was nearly impossible. It might help if they spend a bit of time in their own shop - the...
Read moreSo I thought I'd give these guys the benefit of the doubt. Everyone makes mistakes, right?
But I thought I'd hedge my bet so I called my order in. I explained that last time I was in they'd given my pizza away to someone else so could they please put my name on this one. Yes yes was what I got.
So at the appointed time on the dot I walked in. The man in front of me had called also. The manager explained his had gone out with a group order. No apologies, nothing. The man walks out in disgust.
Meanwhile I explain to the young woman behind the counter who I am and what I'd ordered. She talks a moment with the manager and then rings me up. I offer my debit card but before putting it in the machine I double check with her that my order is ready to go. She says yes it is.
She goes to pull it from the warmer and guess what? Yup...no pizza. The manager comes over and instead of apologizing to his customer he yells at his employees. I demand my money back. He credits my card shaking his head all the while. I stand there for about 90 seconds just staring at him. Apology? Any kind of affirmation that it was his fault? Nope.
I am done with this place unless they want a new manager who not only positively encourages their team but puts policy in place to avoid these simple mistakes. I feel bad...
