We decided to embark on a little culinary adventure and stopped by this lively spot for happy hour, eager to sample what this location had to offer. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance that’s common in many Midwest restaurants, with rustic charm and a welcoming vibe. We were promptly checked in and seated at a cozy table that gave us a perfect view of the bustling restaurant.
Our server, Monica, immediately made an impression with her friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for the menu. With so many tempting options, we took a little time to peruse, and she patiently guided us through the extensive selections, recommending some of her personal favorites. We decided to kick things off with a couple of refreshing drinks; I chose the rich and robust Negra Modelo while my girlfriend opted for the smooth and crisp Victoria. Both drinks perfectly set the tone for a fantastic evening ahead.
As for the food, it surpassed our expectations. I ordered the carne asada, and let me tell you, it was absolutely divine—a medley of flavors that danced on my palate! The steak was perfectly grilled, tender, and well-seasoned, served with a side that complemented it beautifully. My girlfriend chose the chimichangas, which were nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Crisp on the outside and bursting with savory goodness on the inside, she was more than pleased with her choice. The portion sizes were nothing short of gigantic, and the generous helpings made it clear that this place doesn’t hold back when it comes to satisfying their guests. We quickly filled our plates and savored every last bite, knowing we might have to roll ourselves out of there by the end of our meal!
Throughout our time there, Monica continued to shine. She was remarkably attentive, ensuring that our drinks were refilled promptly and checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything. Her warm service added a personal touch that made our experience even more enjoyable.
One of the great bonuses is the ample parking available in front of the restaurant, which is always a plus. Additionally, there's a shopping center next door where you can pick up groceries at Aldi or grab some liquor at Merwin's. It’s the perfect spot to round off the evening or stock up on essentials.
Overall, our visit was a delightful experience filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and outstanding service. This place has certainly earned a spot on our go-to list for...
Read moreWe eat here quite a bit and we had a meal, me and my parents and at the end of our meal we found a hair in our guacamole at the bottom of our dish AFTER we were done eating. A lady came out and apologized to us and said she would take a percent or something off, she only took the guacamole dish off so 5 DOLLARS ONLY when we spent almost a hundred dollars and nothing else was taken off after that gross experience. We told the waiter aswell when we were paying and he didn’t say a word like he didn’t care, he was even looking me up and down while my mom was talking to him, I left while they were taking cause I got creeped out how he was looking me up and down, they didn’t do a single thing for us and didn’t take anything off except for the guacamole dish which was 5 dollars, we don’t know where that hair has been or anything. Absolutely gross and disgusting. WILL NOT BE BACK AFTER GOING HERE SO MANY TIMES. My parents told me to...
Read moreExactly what you expect and need from a Mexican restaurant of this variety. Food was delicious and seasoned properly, not overly salty like many Mexican restaurants can get. Could have used more char on the El Lindo grill plate that I got, but overall it was great.
They are currently doing two-for-one margaritas and bottled beers, which is a good way to get into the good graces of the community. Speaking of, the margaritas are large and poured stiff, at least from our experience. So no complaints there!
Staff is friendly, if a little frantic. We came in at 5pm on a Friday and it was starting to get very busy (good problem for a new restaurant) and they seemed to be having some communication issues. But not a problem and they were very accommodating.
Definitely worth checking out and filling a gap that is badly needed in this area of...
