The waitress was so friendly and was on top of making sure our beverages were filled before we even asked and also made sure we had everything else we needed as far as napkins, condiments, etc. She had wonderful attitude from the moment we walked in the door and greeted us immediately and allowed us to sit where we wanted to. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and just perfect to our order, even the salad was fresh and not one single piece of lettuce was brown, the tomatoes and cucumbers were so succulent and fresh also. Both of our dinners were made exactly the way we wanted and so much better than we expected!!! I would recommend this WONDERFUL, DELICIOUS, FAMILY, FRIENDLY, SAFE, CLEAN, & AMAZING RESTAURANT to everyone. This was our first time here and it was the best choice we made today in choosing where to go and eat. You can tell they all work very hard day in and day out and take pride in what they do because the outcome of the service prooves it all! A Mount Clemens must try! Walk in and you're immediately greeted by their friendly wait staff, and if you become a regular, they will already have your drinks memorized and coming!

In a time where many restaurants come and go, Johns is standing the test of time and for good reason. While their regular breakfast specials are popular, the menu is filled with so many delicious treats without the high city breakfast spot price tag. Pictured below are their Strawberry Pancakes, Nutella Crepes (Yummy!!!) and Eggs Benedict for some delectable morning choices. And for lunch, look at this Parmesan Crusted Caesar Salad Wrap! They have daily specials too!

Portions here are filling, grab a salad or a 1lb Corned Beef and you might need a To Go box. And don't forget to try Mama's soups of the day, she does NOT disappoint! Chicken Lemon Rice is a must try!

Had to write another review. We have dined here a number of times now. The staff is amazing and the food delicious as usual. Their hand grated hash browns are so good!!! I do not know what they use for pancake mix but the pancakes have such a good flavor and are like pancakes were back in the day! Eggs are always cooked as ordered. Poached are my fav. Clean with updated decor.

I don’t know why we had not tried John’s earlier. We have been missing out. The place is well maintained and immaculate. Staff is amazing. Food is fresh and well presented. They peal and shred their own hash browns! They come beautifully browned and are folded on themselves so nicely on your plate. Omelets are prepared as I like them: crêpe like, with all the yummy goodness inside! I do not like when the meat and veggies are cooked into the eggs as I feel the omelet gets too dry.
