Haven't been to the restaurant in a few years and the hubby and I decided to stop in for breakfast! The greeter was a very pleasant young lady that sat us immediately! That's the positive review...... our waitress came to the table ( I didn't get her name but she's the loudest person in the building) and was immediately baffled by the 1st question.... Is this on the same bill? I know ppl do ask for separate bills, but I've never been asked that while sitting across from the opposite sex person. And I get that different restaurants do things differently but in my history with Louies that was new. So I responded " It better be" with a chuckle! I just figured that was her style as a waitress! It didnt really concern me in that moment, but i pay attention and it soon raised my eyebrows! So I order my food, then my husband orders his. We ordered omelets. He was asked if he wanted cheese in his omelet..... again, baffled. I thought cheese was the glue that held the ingredients together inside the omelet..... but OK! Again, never been asked that for an omelet. I've been asked what type of cheese though! So I chalked it up as maybe she meant to ask what type of cheese ( giving grace instead of jumping to conclusions, although my spidey senses were tingling). Fast forward..... as other patrons are entering, our waitress, the loud one, is going to tables taking orders and I'm listening! She goes to a table with another man and woman..... didn't ask if they needed separate bills...hmmmm. 2 gentlemen enter and are seated. I know for sure she's gonna ask if they want separate bills.....Nope! She asked what they were drinking, and was very cheery with them! So now I'm really confused?! What would make her ask us that question and no one else? Maybe she forgot to ask everyone else. Our food was placed on our table fresh and piping hot! Another pleasant part of the review but it was soon deflated by the fact that another waitress walks up while I'm stuffing my face, food in my mouth chewing, asking if we needed boxes! I looked at her, then looked at my plate to see if she saw something i didn't see ( i had literally ate 1/8 of my food and it was still piping hot) and before I could swallow to respond, my husband says yes! He knew i was about to say something not nice! When she brought the boxes, I boxed my food and told my husband I was ready to go! He paid the tab, and i walked out disgusted by that service. We were not treated the same as all the other customers for some weird reason! Not my problem if a person doesn't want to be at work and do their job. I could sense the snarkiness of our waitress and i felt rushed out of the restaurant. We were in there total maybe 20-30 minutes and that's with no wait to be seated, ordering food, having the food delivered to our table, boxing up it and leaving! Customer service is 80% or more of what makes a business thrive! And although the food was good, i won't be spending anymore money in that restaurant. It's a reason why I haven't been there in years and that service was the...
Read moreNot many nearby restaurants that serve good breakfast, This place out beats Coney Island by far in taste, quantity and cleanliness. The service is amazing and never waited long for my food. Drive thru orders are just as fast, not like many waiting 15 minutes in line just for one breakfast sandwich, Louie only 5-10 minutes for a full course breakfast meal. Only negative is just a bit pricey for my pockets, if I could afford too, would go for breakfast at least 3-4 days a week. I go maybe once or twice a month. Update as of 04/2025 Prices are still too high especially when the economy is very bad, really believe if prices goes down customers will come more often, seems there price gouging, can dine in at Bob Evens, Country Buffet etc.. and come out cheaper for sure..better be careful customers began falling back due to the prices..my only negative is a pacific female who answers their telephone to place a carry out order can be very snippy and unfriendly.. I wish I knew her name because itâs more than once. Unfortunately I have not called to order anything for over a month..this place is to expensive to come off that way, I...
Read moreThis place was a frequent stop of mine for a couple years. I paid like $6.50 for a Ham sandwich with lettuce and tomatoe on it. I walked in there one day to get my sandwich went from $6.50 to $10.05. I should have told them to keep the sandwich ill keep my $10! Rip off!! Caution the previous reviews you read might be from a long time ago when they were charging market prices! Ham is the cheapest meat you can buy. Windfall profits on a sandwich! I didn't get frys and I didn't get a drink, just a ham sandwich!!! Subway would have been cheaper, Chipotle burrito would have been cheaper, Double whopper from BK would have been cheaper, Kabob Express Shwarmas would have been cheaper, Red Robin burger would have been cheaper. I guess you get my point...it is a ham sandwich. Grab yourself a half sub from Terry's Submarine shop down the street at 15 mile road for $6, that's value. A ham...
