Gallagher's Taproom — Restaurant in Mount Holly Township

Went there on my birthday with my son to celebrate and have some fun. I wanted to sing Karaoke with my son so I go there early to sign up. The karaoke guy came in with a list already in place. So it didn’t matter how early I got there. He only called on his buddies. I don’t like that entire buddy thing. It should be first come first serve. He read off a list of about 20 people. I paid my check and left. I won’t go back. I guess if you want to sing a song you have to sit there and spend a lot of money until it’s your turn. Definitely turned me off.. I think the topper was when the owner saw me leaving. He came over and said “I thought you were going to stay“. The owner and his wife are very nice people. I said to him the guys got a list of about 20 people. Now the owner could’ve approached him and said this guy and said he has been here since 530 but he didn’t. He knew I was there before the other people but did nothing about it. So apparently he is satisfied with The method that they use. I’m sure for him if you were to sit there and wait and buy drinks all night it would increase his revenue, but I’m not about to do that. I have performed professionally and I have a studio at home. I’m certainly not gonna sit there and spend a lot of money Just to sing a song. It was especially disappointing that I wanted to have some fun with my son on my birthday and didn’t work out the...

Saw a lot of good food reviews since this place took over. Prices looked good and the menu was small. Normally when a menu is that small the place makes the food very well. Not sure where these 4 or 5 star reviews are coming from, the food was mediocre at best, which would have been fine honestly for the price and I mean its a Bar.

However I ordered honey bbq wings for my daughter, the waitress said she put it in as honey bbq. When we got home my daughter ate a couple and her mouth was instantly on fire. She started crying, said the wings arent honey bbq. I tried some of the sauce and it was indeed HOT. After a few handful of crackers she was fine.

Mistakes are made. But when you are serving food that hot, you need to get the order right.

Food quality was just above fast food

Mistake was very unfortunate and not cool.

They did offer to exchange it when I called to tell them about the mistake, but my daughter was pretty much done with eating at that point.

Wont be returning. Not just because of the mistake, that stuff happens, the food just...

We went here on a whim after the change in ownership and boy was there an upgrade. The food was AMAZING and the price is unbeatable $9 for 4 chicken tenders with fires. There were no upcharges for upgrading to onion rings, steak fries or sweet potato fries which is a nice added bonus. Buying chicken tenders at a bar for $9 the expectations are pretty low, however these were crispy, juicy and were so delicious.

The staff was super helpful and friendly! One of the bartenders even went out of his way to circle all the non-carbonated drinks on the menu for us after overhearing us talk about how carbonation upsets out stomach.

For being a bar the atmosphere was really nice. The TVs that were all around are framed nicely in the wall so they aren't directly in your face and distracting you but still all around if you did want...
