Niyoshi II Japanese Exp Restaurant — Restaurant in Mount Holly

We have lived in this area for more than three years and for most of that time the food from here was fine...we normally always order the hibachi chicken and mushrooms, and when I have gotten the hibachi shrimp and broccoli it was really good just ordered vegetable well done and it was fine. But something has changed in the last few months. In May we got the usual for dinner mid week night and it made me sick- I know this because all I had to eat that night was dinner and water. Last Friday night I agreed to give it another try and we were flat out disappointed. Yes, it was a pick up order ar about 7:30 or 8 but both order's rice was so incredibly dry I couldn't believe it. Even with the slight amount of soy sauce that was on it you could just tell the rice was overcooked. Not even using the entire container of shrimp sauce helped. No more! We may lack options this side of town for eating out, but we are not wasting anymore of our money here. I gave them three stars for the previous experiences over the year's. Going off of the most recent results they deserve a solid one...

Good food... steak filet is good!! This is a little family business though, and they don't always follow health rules lol. For instance... once they brought my daughter a plate of food to the table and she was not happy with carrots being on her plate. I had asked for no carrots with extra rice instead.. but they gave her carrots. Once my daughter pointed this out to me, I went back up to the counter with my daughter's plate to explain the mix up. The older lady that works in there took the plate out of my hand and scraped the carrots back into the big container that holds all the carrots for other customers plates. .. then she spooned on more rice to my daughter's plate. I tried to stop the lady from doing that but she did it anyhow. I think that was extremely unsanitary. No telling what they do back in the kitchen lololol. Anyway... .they have good food and are usually friendly enough. They do though get aggravated with you after your 1st refill. Like, if you want a second refill they might give you that look lol... and might even comment that you...

This food was nasty pure trash it was cheap I should have known and by the way my name on fb is Candice cors this is a very real review went yesterday orders steak with broccoli and mushrooms they charged me extra for broccoli you could either get steak and broccoli or steak and mushrooms the broccoli did not taste bad probably was the best thing in All over the fried rice with canned corn in it seemed like a half can of some kind of juice filled in my7$ side brocoli container bag filled with juice in the bottom just sloppy to serve someone’s food like that a giant mess all in my dam car the steak didn’t eat it nasty I really should have drive back and took it back it was that bad I never write reviews but they deserve one the Dan. Dan whatever noodles over cooked softly boiled not how you expect lomein they call themselves hibachi’s do not waiste your dam money 25$ down the drain and I’m mad about it stomach hurts next day reason why I’m sitting here writing this long real review don’t go to them they should pay...
