First Watch — Restaurant in Charlotte

First let me say I understand the newness and (I had to stop n change my rating to a ZERO). So while i was typing this review they were bringing my food, which they had got wrong initially, and was supposed to be right. Going off my initial experience of driving ALL THE WAY HOME and assuming they had got the order correct, based on all the check marks they had put on the bag, I decided to check the bag. IT WAS WRONG AGAIN! I ordered an egg breakfast sandwich and wanted to add chicken sausage. They gave me an egg sandwich with BACON. I don't eat pork. So I had to drive back to the location, 15 min, and attempt to get my order corrected. So I get there and show them my receipt, which CLEARLY said CHICKEN SAUSAGE. So the young man takes my order into the back so it can get corrected (that's when I initially started typing this review). He brings supposedly my now corrected food. IT WAS WRONG AGAIN!!! Again, they got half the order right. This time they forgot to put the egg on. HOW do you forget the egg on an EGG SANDWICH?????? Finally, I get my food and I'm headed home. This location is one and done for me. Despite it being closer I will continue to go to Matthew's. I should've expected something like this because when I first arrived a lady was doing the same thing I just did. They had messed up her to go order and she was there to get it corrected. I would not recommend this establishment due to the extended wait times, food quality, and service.

Despite sending my order back and having it corrected by the server, there were still mistakes made. I was not compensated for the inconvenience of my food being cooked wrong or waiting longer, and receiving my food after the rest of table has finished and was ready to leave.

The Eggs Benedict was not worth the price. I had to send it back because the egg wasn’t cooked to my liking and rest of the items were freezing cold. I have Never had a cold Eggs Benedict. (If want a delicious one go to Eggspectation) Rex Per the menu the salad was supposed to be complimented with their fresh lemon dressing. The salad came back twice without dressing. I had to request it.

As for the Potatoes with Onions, we were charged for two types of onions but only received red onion and 7 spice if onion. (.99 each)

Regarding the coffee, my spouse requested milk instead of creamer. The server brought out a full glass of milk (we didn’t ask for a full glass a milk), she have put it in metal dish they put the salad dressing in, and charged us $3.49. It was unclear why there was an additional charge for milk or why we got charged it for.

My experience at this restaurant was mixed. Initially, the service was excellent, with a friendly and efficient waitress. However, as the meal progressed, the service noticeably declined. Despite the waitress not appearing busy initially, there was an evident lack of interest when we requested several times for her to clear the dirty dishes.

It was frustrating that the waitress would approach the table with empty hands, and when kindly asked to take away the plates we no longer needed, she simply stated she would return, showing no intention of removing even a single plate. This pattern repeated itself at least 3-4 times during our visit, creating a sense of frustration.

There was a mistake in our order, specifically with the French bread, which delayed the experience. Although the waitress apologized, the feeling of being rushed persisted. Furthermore, the lack of attention to clearing dirty dishes was disappointing.

As for the food, I must admit the quality was outstanding. The flavors were delicious, and the menu offered a variety of options. However, the poor service overshadowed the positive dining experience.
