This is a new location. I try to give a new place a break while they work out the kinks. Outback forced this review by refusing to answer whether my experience was an anomaly or if their food has changed for all locations. The salad was fine. The bread was great as usual. The ribs were tender but the sauce was SOUR. The potato was not a potato with sea salt, it was sea salt with potato. I couldn't hydrate after 10 glasses of water. Did the location cook the potato wrong? Did Outback change their recipe for the sauce? I have no idea because no one from Outback will answer the question. The worse part is how slippery the floor is. This isn't localized to a spill. I was wearing industrial non-slip shoes and they glided as if they were socks. The lady getting into the booth next to me tripped getting in. I'm guessing that the location is the problem and they'll probably get it fixed but Outback doesn't seem interested in telling me before I book 10 people in for a party. I am not giving them a second chance at $35 per head and they are only 4 miles away. The waitstaff was a bit timid and when I asked to speak to the manager, she didn't formally introduce herself. The worse part of paying for a steak house is using the handheld payment machine. I was on call so I asked for the check in case I needed to leave quickly. I didn't mean I wanted to pay for my food before it showed up. I came out of the bathroom and the little machine was sitting on my table. How hygienic is that? If you have to, hold the machine and let me tap it. Don't hand it to me after 100 other people had it in their hands. The only purpose of the machine is to push tipping. If I am paying to sit down then I don't want a machine pushed into my face.

We were quoted a 45-minute wait, so we opted to get on the list. Except, after waiting a while and seeing our name get passed over, we discovered they'd never actually added us! Thankfully, a spot at the bar opened up, saving the night. The Blackberry Martini deserves a medal. Seriously, amazing. And the Pecan Cinnamon Old Fashioned? Forget the spice, it was all about the smooth, nutty perfection and the show. The bread was solid, and our server, Grant, was an absolute rockstar, keeping our spirits high. Now, let's talk atmosphere. This place was hopping. So hopping, in fact, that the bar service wasn't quite as polished as usual. They forgot to wipe down the bar top before seating us, and utensils were a bit of an afterthought. However, they were crazy efficient at clearing plates – kudos for that! Now the food. We snagged a plate of their new fries with cheese, bacon, and ranch. Let me tell you, as a self-proclaimed ranch aficionado, theirs was the real deal. Onto the entrees: the Ribeye was cooked to absolute perfection, but the Mac n Cheese was a let-down – cold, dry, and in desperate need of more sauce. The Chicken and Steak and Salmon with shrimp and mashed potatoes were all crowd-pleasers, though. The staff had been brought in from all over the region overheard servers from Myrtle Beach, Greenville, Raleigh, Cary – you name it! It was a fun detail that added to the lively atmosphere. We've been several times since and love it.

10/31/2024 There’s a lot to unpack here. I ordered a little under $100 of food. Everything came out right except my $30 meal. I ordered the prime rib and got a rib eye smothered in prime rib seasoning as if the chef hoped I wouldnt know the difference. My baked potato clearly should have been tossed out before it was baked and the asparagus was soggy bathing in a pool of water at the bottom of me container. See pictures attached (s&s 12 oz Prime Rib)… Being that we ordered ahead we assumed showing up thirty minutes later we wouldn’t have to wait very long although 20 minutes went by and no food. The atmosphere at this location is one that I frequently try to avoid unless I’m in a bind or have little time. Be sure to watch out for the crazy tweakers panhandling/demanding money at the light to this location. The traffic is toxic and if I were you I’d just go down the road to Mt Holly and get a good take out dinner there instead. Wish I could give this place zero stars but a one star will have to do. It’s amazing to me that any business can succeed operating the way this one does at this location. Good luck to anyone willing to brave the journey here.

This location is relatively new. The service is horrendous. Sadly I never got the opportunity to order food and I’m still waiting on a drink so the only thing I can rate the place on is service and based on the aforementioned it obviously sucked. There are staffing issues …there is adequate staff they’re just not serving customers. The floor manager (who we thought was a kitchen employee) just kind of lurks in the doorway leading into the kitchen totally oblivious to what’s going on. There was another customer that came in and started talking me because she was upset she had to wait to be seated since the place was empty. I chuckled and informed her I was 30 minutes in and had yet to receive my drink though the white man that came in good 15 minutes after us got his drink, his appetizer and at that point was waiting on his dinner. We flagged down the bartender since she never came back to take our order and asked we could have some drinks. One person got a drink 15 minutes later and the bartender never came back since she was busy waiting tables which made no sense since there were servers on the floor just posted up doing nothing. A second bartender came on shift and the lady next to me flagged her down and advised her we hadn’t been served and she lied and said we didn’t get served because we didn’t know what we wanted. I asked her if that was the case why does one have a drink and not the other? Then she lies again and says that the other bartender was in the process of making my drink but in the same breath asks me what I’d ordered and at that point I’d had enough so we told her to forget about the drink and just provide us with the bill. The original bartender comes back and she advised her we didn’t want the drink anymore and requested to cash out and she gets a nasty attitude because she has to void the drink I ordered 45 minutes prior at this point that I didn’t receive.Let me apologize for sitting at your bar thirsty and unattended while you serve everyone else. The other guest complained to the manager on our behalf and sent him over which we had no desire to speak to him. If he were doing his job he would’ve noticed I didn’t even have a glass of water in the front of me. If he’d made rounds and asked 1 out of no more than 10 guests in the restaurant how things were going he would’ve learned we simply hadn’t been served. I would like to think the fact that the other bar patron that got served over us has nothing to do with skin color but I’ll digress. We simply won’t patronize the...

On 6/28/25 me and my husband did curbside takeout at outback 3813 Corning place in Charlotte NC , and what a horrible experience. First of all we ordered the prime rib steak and the person told us they only had 18oz (now mind you she never said it wasn’t available till 4pm or nothing of the sort or you didn’t have it ) but gave my husband the ribeye as a substitute (not good that was mistake #1) and I ordered the chimichurri filet which was over cooked and hard. In any case we were both not pleased. Within 10 min I came back before we got home and told them it was the wrong steak so the manager Bebin told us she would refund us our money which took 2 weeks. I was so aggravated and annoyed. I came to the establishment like 3x or more and also called several times, the other manager Michael Gave us vouchers which was fine but I wanted my money back, so finally I had the chance to speak to Ashley very nice , understanding and pleasant she dug deep into the situation and on Sunday 7/13 we finally got a refund. I was so grateful for her because she didn’t stop till it was done. The other manager Bebin told us to check with our credit card company like she didn’t wanna help anymore and thought we were lying about receiving refund, but in actuality she didn’t do it right piss me off to the fullest. How you a manager and don’t know the correct steps to refund a Customer money like really. Ugh but it has been a Long 2 weeks of stress and aggravation trying to get our money back. But thank God for Ashley she definitely deserves a raise because she understood the situation and put the customer first which I loved. Ashley should be the head manager there IJS … Michael was also very understanding he was trying but he actually didn’t know what Bebin had done so he kept saying he had to send receipt to there accounting office . But , thank god for Ashley!!! An...
