I recently contacted this business as part of a professional reference check, and the experience was concerning. Initially, there was confusion about who I was and the nature of my call, which I understand can happen. However, once I clarified that I was calling as a business owner regarding a former employee, the tone became unprofessional.
I was told the individual āwasnāt a good fit,ā but when I asked for clarity (such as whether it was related to attendance or reliability), I was told I was being unprofessional for asking, and the call was abruptly ended. I later learned from the applicant that they were let go without notice or reason, despite completing tax forms, and were then paid in cash, which raises additional concerns.

Rather than the "assembly line" popularized by Subway and Chipotle, we were asked to order off the menu with their preset poke bowls. Don't get me wrong - they're made to order and assembled right then, but I do like to "more of that" and "none of the other" as we're putting it together.
A nice bowl with a warm rice base topped with proteins and veggies that was quite delicious including krab salad, seaweed salad, tuna and avocado. Plenty to share here that was tasty and fresh.
The restaurant is clean and fresh, which I would expect with fresh fish being served. They also have bubble...
