A little disappointed in the communication when I ate here, but I don’t doubt that the food can be as delicious as the other reviews say! It was only my second time trying ramen, so I asked the server what dish was pictured on the menu. The picture featured sliced pork and a spicy looking broth. The server told me the name of it and I told her I wanted to give it a try. When it came out, the ramen had minced pork on it instead of sliced pork, and I told the server that I had wanted the sliced pork like in the picture I asked about. She said sliced pork was an add-on, and that this was the ramen I ordered. But she didn’t mention that it was an add-on when I originally asked about the ramen in the picture, or ask if I wanted the sliced pork added on (I’ll attach the pic of the menu—it was hard to see that this was a minced pork ramen). I tried the minced pork, didn’t like it the meat but the broth was really really good. The server didn’t offer to send it back, and I didn’t want to waste the food anyway, so I just asked to take it to go and asked which ramen had just the sliced pork. She recommended a black pepper ramen, which was good! I was just originally hoping for the spicy broth/sliced pork type of ramen, so I half think the communication was lacking and I half think I just need to research the menu items by myself next time lol because I essentially ended up just paying for 2 ramens that I didn’t love. Other than that I can tell that the food is high quality and good in general, and the presentation of the food was great!

Ordered takeout last night for the first time from Fukutoku and was so surprised by the quality and flavor of the food. Ordered the sunnny roll & spicy crunch crab roll, Brussel sprouts, crab Rangoon, vegetable spring roll, house fried rice. The rolls were delicious and filling. The Brussel sprouts were supposed to be tempura or a sauce and didn't taste much different from how I make them at home. I wouldn't pay $6 for them again. The crab rangoons were the best I've ever had, flavorful and the sauce that comes with it has a nice kick with spice I can't wait to order these again. Spring rolls were good, needed a few seconds longer in the fryer the outside wasn't super crispy just yet but still tasted great. My husband is picky with rice, if it's yellow he's not going at all. Fukutokus rice is brown and has the right seasonings and flavor to it. He said he wished there was more shrimp (house fried rice has shrimp beef and chicken) he said it was mainly beef, but overall good. The inside atmosphere is very cute as well can't wait to go back with friends for lunch

Fukutoku has the potential to be the kind of place you brag about to friends. My first visit set the bar high — Spicy Chicken Curry Ramen with perfectly crispy fried chicken, a broth full of depth, and noodles cooked right to that al dente sweet spot. That’s what had me coming back. This time, the ramen still looked inviting but the broth didn’t quite have the same punch. Flavor was there, but it felt a bit thin compared to the last visit. The crab rangoon was what you’d expect — fried, crispy, and still satisfying. The standout this round was the avocado bomb: creamy, nutty, with just the right chew from the crab meat (yes, imitation) and a sauce that tied it all together. For Mt. Juliet’s only ramen shop, they’ve got something special here. A little more consistency in that broth and this could easily become a no-questions-asked, five-star stop.

Sunday afternoon we thought we’d try another local restaurant. Reviews were good so we were happy to try. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! We ordered main entrees of spicy vegetable ramen and shrimp & salmon hibachi. Ramen was warm and nothing special. Shrimp and salmon were SEVERELY overcooked and inedible! We brought the hibachi entree to the attention of the waitress who said she would notify the manager. A young lady came out and we thought she was the manager and was pleasant enough asking if there was something else that we could get and stay. We Made the decision to get something else. In the meantime, another person who said he was, the manager came out, maybe 30 years old and began to lecture us about seafood having to be cooked well done at all times and was very condescending as if shrimp and salmon were a rare delicacy. Patiently, we told him it was severely overcooked and edible. He continued to tell us he tasted a bit of it, and there was nothing wrong with it. It was so unpleasant with this manager that we couldn’t even finish our meal. I said to him your behavior is why restaurants get bad reviews. It did not phase him and I hate giving a bad review. I am just glad other people have not encountered this person who said he was the manager. Owners please train your manager to respect customers. We left and went to another local restaurant and had a...

I hate to be “that person” since the majority of the reviews are good but I tried this place for the first time last week before the holiday and had the worst experience. We sat down and ordered drinks and appetizers which all were served quickly. Then we ordered our food which is when the problem started. We had one person served almost immediately, then 5-10 minutes later another dish came out. It was a little annoying that everyone was served a different times, but if it was quickly happening it wouldn’t have been a big deal. The other two members ordered hibachi, which took over an hour to receive so obviously the rest of the group was done eating. We had to ask multiple times for an update on the food. And it wasn’t until we requested the meals be removed and for our check that the food then miraculously appeared. We ate a little but mostly got to go boxes for it to leave as we had already been there long enough and half the group was done eating. It wasn’t until AFTER we paid and started to leave that the manager offered for us to come back for a meal on the house. The more appropriate thing would have been to comp the two meals that weren’t served until the last second. An effort to “fix it” was made but I felt like it was a total cop out. We won’t be going again; there are other, better hibachi/asian...
