This used to be my primary store, but they have gotten worse and worse over the last few years. When Tara was in charge, things were great as I was able to get the bottles I wanted at a fair price. The bourbon market has certainly grown more intense and there is higher demand. They would not hold any specific bottles that are allocated, nor would they put them out on the shelf. They said you would have to come in and ask for it specifically. Here's the kicker...they get annoyed and even walk away from you if you want to ask to see if something has come in. This started under Merino, and the new manager Tom seems even worse. Their story about store policy also fluctuates. I was first told that entering the shoppers club card didn't matter because there are no discounts, but then later was told that was how they determine who gets certain rare bottles. After spending a ton of money and using my card, I was still told I couldn't get any of the bottles from the end of year release. I have always been polite, but service has gone from indifferent to sometimes rude. If they are annoyed at people asking for bottles hidden in the back, they should change their policy.
