I happened to be at the hospital for a good reason. But who knew that but me.
CUSTOMER SERVICE - by a Latino (appearing) lady [in the video] on 3/3/25 around 4:45pm was deplorable. She talked the entire time with someone (seemingly) from another department about other employees and company business. If that's not bad enough, she literally stood there for a minimum of 3 to 5 minutes chatting while a man waiting to place an order in front of me.
I wasn't sure which way the line went, so bc she kept talking and not acknowledging the man I thought he had already been helped and was waiting for his food. NOPE!
When it was my turn, I asked if she had an alternate milk, and she didn't respond to my question at all; she did use it though. The service was just bottom level. It made me think earnings must be minimum wage since, these employees have such a disdain for the customers who could really use a smile.
FOOD/DRINKS: Equally as disappointing was the drink itself. I asked her where the sugar was, she replied, "I make it different, you might wanna try it 1st." Lord was it sweet, it was too sweet, I mean add a 1/2 cup of water, sweet. I feel like she did that on purpose as well as keeping us waiting.
I rarely blast the ppl who give mediocre service, but this was 100% trash. I was saddened to be treated this way at Virtua and Starbucks bc both places always give excellence and I love that.
DAY 2: I tiptoed around the corner to try it again. I had been up all night 3 nights straight and needed coffee, but to my absolute amazement, SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT!!! 2ppl behind the counter (a black young lady with the best disposition and a white or non black woman) working together, smiling and the drink was made perfectly, I usually add 2 sugars, but the sweetness from yesterday plagued me terribly, so I didn't grab my usual. Unfortunately, I ended up wasting my money each time, but the 2nd time was on me, I assumed it would again be...
Read moreThe store was nice and clean. Quite cozy I can say. A guy who was receiving orders was very mean. No "Hi", no smile. I asked him to redeem my the next expiring stars, then placed my order. While he was placing the order I repeated again that I need to redeem my stars. When time came to pay I said one more time that I wanted to redeem my stars and scanned my phone. Then I received I receipt for the order showing I PAID for it, and the stars still expiring the next day.... I approached the guy. He said I never asked to redeem the stars and that I was supposed to tell him at the time of placing the order which I DID. He was very mean. Then a lady came to help to cancel the order and re-issue a new one. She was nice, helpful and didn't make big deal out of it like the guy did. I had observed him till I received my order . The guy was mean and had unhappy face to everyone. This is Starbucks. We choose Starbucks and pay extra compare to other coffee shops for great service which we didn't receive in this store. I understand people have bad days for different reasons, but if so, personal life is supposed be left out behind your work place while you...

Lately during covid time, less visits to this store due to no drive through available to this store. This store sometimes try to serve relatively less hot coffee (near cold) in the evening despite this store sale is very high in general and has grown to a base of large numbers of customers. Needed to ask them to change the cold coffee if served when asked for hot coffee. This does not feel good. Even yesterday at 11:30 am, coffee was borderline hot, very mild hot. I think this store has coffee machines are not maintained ot adjusted for regulatory routine maintenances. All other starbucks hot coffee serving temperature is different except this one in this area. I tasted my self in all 4...
