After being helped by multiple kind associates at the Deptford location, I went to the Mt. Laurel location to get a certain size sweatshirt that the Deptford location did not have. While at the Deptford location, I asked a question about a 20% off your total purchase coupon that was advertised for signing up for rewards. I signed up yesterday. The kind associate let me know that sometimes it takes a day or two for that email to come through, but that she would honor the coupon. I really appreciated that. When she called the Mt. Laurel location to ask about the size sweatshirt that I was looking for, she let them know that they told me they would honor that coupon if they would ask their manager to do the same. I didn’t expect anything. I wasn’t planning on even bringing up the coupon at the Mt. Laurel location until I overheard one of their employees nastily talking about it. It was so unbelievably unprofessional. She was going off very loudly on a rant taunting and mimicking what the associate said to her over the phone, saying she was not going to honor the coupon, saying things like “are they even going to come today?” in a nasty tone amongst other rude remarks. My husband and I were in shock just standing there listening to them talk about us. We came right from the Deptford store so it had only been about 30 minutes… I walked over and said “we are here right now”. Her tone switched up immediately. Fake!!! She tried doubling back and saying some stores honor coupons and some don’t and it leads to customer complaints. Well if you’re worried about customer issues or complaints maybe don’t talk shit on them while they could be in ear shot. (I was right there when the Deptford associate said the words “can you ask your manager” (she even said her name) there was no demand, no condescending tone like what I overheard. And another woman standing there asked when I signed up for the program. I signed up yesterday. She said it takes a few days for it to come through. I was not arguing that, or anything at all. I explained that I simply asked an associate at the other location a question about it and they offered to honor it. And they tried to extend that courtesy for me at the other location. That kind of conversation should not be held out on the sales floor. If that store did not have the literal only size medium of that sweatshirt in the entire state of New Jersey, I would have left. And the funniest part is, after I checked out at full price I got into my car, and the coupon was in my email. It came through while we were in the store. Had I not been blown away by the woman talking so rudely about me, not even seeing or speaking me yet, I’m sure I would’ve remembered to check my email one more time before checking out. It’s not about the coupon. It’s about professionalism. If I had gotten there, went to check out and was told “I know the other store was going to honor the coupon but sadly we are unable to” I would’ve said no problem I understand! I really did not like how unwelcome and uncomfortable that entire situation...
Read moreGreat service, not great prices… I ran into the Rally House in Centerton Square on the way to a Phillies game and urgently needed a jersey & hat for a gift as the jersey I ordered from another vendor was delayed in shipping. This was my first visit there but spotted the Phillies merch directly to my left. I hurried over frantically looking for the right size fumbling with hangers. Immediately someone came over offering assistance which I needed bc half of the shirts are up high and you need to use the hanger grabber. She quickly found what I needed and directed me to the hats on the other side to grab while she was looking. Even with one person ahead of me in line, the cashier completed my sale with a smile and I was out of there within maybe 15 mins. Lots of Official merch from all the local teams but although the price was lower than face value, they are not a bargain outlet so some things I would not buy from there direct. I signed up for the emails to see it they...
Read moreAs I was checking out, I was asked for my email address and I said no thank you, then I was told without a receipt I would not be able to return the item. Not planning on making a return but I know that thier return policy does not list needing to give my email address. I have spoken to thier corporate already about this. I asked to see a manager and she was very rude and argumentative with me about it telling me that I was wrong. When I told her the receipt and website do not list needing a email address to make a return she said the website was wrong. I again called corporate and was again told a email address is not required to make a return. I told them how she acted and they were very surprised. It's sad that this person who does not know the store policy is the one training...
