Ayo, lemme tell ya somethin' 'bout Joe and Anthony's Pizzeria. This place is the real freakin' deal, ya hear me? You walk in, you can smell the magic in the air. The crust? Fuggedaboutit! It’s crispy, it’s chewy, it’s perfect. None of that soggy stuff you get from those other joints. The sauce? Fahgettaboudit! It’s like they got a Nonna in the back squeezin' tomatoes fresh off the vine. It’s got that perfect tang, a lil' sweet, a lil' savory. And the cheese? Ya sistas tomatas!!! They ain't cheapin' out on you, it’s piled high, melted to perfection. You bite into a slice, and it’s like a symphony in your mouth. You like toppings? They got 'em all. Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, you name it. And lemme tell ya, they don’t skimp. You get your money’s worth here, no doubt about it. The guys behind the counter? They’re like your cousins. Always crackin' jokes, always rememberin' your name, always makin' you feel like you’re part of the family. You want a slice or a pie? They got you covered. So if you’re lookin' for a slice of the best freakin' pizza in North NJ, you gotta get yourself over to Joe and Anthony’s. One bite, and you’ll know what I’m talkin' about. This place? It’s a legend. Don’t just take my word for it, get over there and see for yourself!

2/2021 - After 3 years finally had the chance to go back, and I am glad I did. The Margherita Pizza is amazing. All fresh homemade ingredients make this a must have pizza. You cannot go wrong with a Grandma Pizza as well. Anthony has been a Pizziolo for over 30 years and takes tremendous pride in the Pizza that he delivers. 3/2019 3.5 -Stopped in for a quick slice on the go. The place was clean, but only offered a few stools to sit, so I am assuming that this will be more of a grab a pizza on the run type of place. Good size slice of pizza and they do not cut corners on their speciality slices. Judging against the best pizza in the state, this place falls in the middle with 3 stars. Wasn't great.. wasn't bad. I believe the owners also run the local Frank's Pizza that is 2.5 miles down the road. I will be back to order my next pie..

Just strolled in because I saw union workers inside and they typically know the spots in all the years I’ve been coming to this shopping area I have never stopped in, well I’m sure glad I did this time. The pizza was out of this world. The crust is thin and flakey not doughy at all’s the sauce is absolutely perfect and the cheese is authentic mozzarella cheese. It blew my socks off. Honestly I’m super picket with pizza and this place nailed it. My new favorite spot. Mike was a charm! Wish I lived closer but when I come this way I’ll be right in here eating from their menu. So happy I walked in!!!!

I’m a native New Jerseyian/New Yorker and if nothing else, we know pizza. I’ve traveled all over the USA and I’ve tried pizza in 100’s of places. That being said, for my latest pizza craving I tried Joe and Anthony’s Pizza in Flanders, New Jersey. I decided to give their meat lovers pizza a try. In a word, it was SPECTACULAR!!! It had the perfect balance of pepperoni, ham, meatball and sausage all held together with an abundance of cheese. The crust and the bottom were done perfectly, not over cooked nor was it soft and doughy. I have to admit Joe or Anthony (I’m not sure which one made this pie) is a pizza making genius. If you are ever in the Flanders area you have to give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. He even delivered the pizza to Fla-Net campground where we were trying to keep from floating away from the torrential rains from the remnants of hurricane Ida. Since man cannot live on pizza alone, a day or two later my wife and I decided to try some of their other dishes. My wife ordered the Chef Salad and I ordered the Shrimp Parmigiana entree which came with a side of pasta and a small garden salad. The Chef Salad was excellent. The man is a food mixologist. The salad was a perfect blend and balance of turkey, ham, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions & carrots. On to the shrimp parmigiana. I was truly impressed with the size of the shrimp. They were very large and like everything we tried, cooked perfectly. For the side pasta I ordered the ziti. While there was nothing wrong with the way the ziti was cooked, my personal preference is al dente, however, I forgot to mention that when I placed my order. As far as negatives, I only have two comments... the shrimp parmigiana could have used a bit more gravy (or is it sauce). It’s gravy, being of Italian descendant I can tell you it is definitely gravy. My other comment has to do with the physical restaurant itself. While there are a few tables, it appears that the majority of their business is take out. The table arrangement is good if you’re stopping in for a quick slice or sandwich. But at the end of the day what really matters is the food and Joe and Anthony’s have definitely nailed it. Since we plan on being in the Flanders area for few more weeks we will be giving a few more of their menu items a try. While I expect whatever else we order will also be excellent, however, should that not be the case I will update my review...

Honestly the food is not good at all. The guy literally kicked us out because he forgot to give us a cheesesteak we order. When we asked for the cheesesteak they told us we didn’t order one and then gave us our receipt... perfectly you can tell we did order it and paid for it. When we asked once again they gave us an attitude and told us they was going to make it when we was waiting there already for half an hour. So we didn’t want the cheesesteak anymore. Once we asked for our money back, the guy started mocking my nephew in his face, we just wanted our money back. Then he told us that he’s not going to give us our money back. That’s when we told him to give us the money again and he angrily open the cash register and gave us the money back with an attitude & told all us to get out, and threw all our food when we wasn’t even done eating. Told to get out! Literally disrespectful & not friendly at all I don’t recommend anyone this place & my family & I won’t be eating there anymore. THIS IS...
