McDonald's — Restaurant in Mount Olive

Drive thru order went efficiently and smoothly. I don't normally leave reviews but one of the employees, the infamous "Fry Bri" left a lasting impression on me.

I had gone through the drive thru to get my go to meal. No line so between ordering and leaving was about 3 minutes. Textbook micky ds drive thru service. As I'm turning onto 206 south with a mouthful of fries and grease all over my steering wheel I see a stranger knocking on my window.

"My apologies sir, we forgot to give you this". The gentleman hands me a straw. I was in shock, I look up to offer him a ride back but he was already sprinting down the road back. I could only catch a glimpse of his name tag and remember "Bri". I know now it was the legend himself, Brian aka the one and only "Fry Bri".

Tremendous service and athleticism was show cased that day. The crazy thing was...there was already a straw in the bag. But I knew it was only right to use the one handed to me...

Ordered chicken nuggets and fries for my son at the drive thru. There was a bug or insect clearly visible in the nuggets. We returned to the McDonald's immediately. I spoke to a female manager, barely capable of simple verbal communication, who didn't care in the least. I brought the remainder of uneaten food back in to her and said "It's unbelievable what you just served to a customer. That man walked out of your place when he heard what you did." I was referring to a person that cancelled his order and left after overhearing what I was saying. Her response was merely a shrug and something like, "People still come here". Best $20 we ever spent though. My son won't ask to go to McDonald's again. He was repulsed! The attitude of indifference she showed after literally serving a bug to a customer was amazing and disappointing. Avoid this location, unless of course you enjoy...

Heard a lot about FryBri. So one fine night, me and the wife, figured we'd go grab a bite. At the drive, I yelled “Hey, are you FryBri? Can I have two fries...and yeah my wife, she also wants some sides.” “That will be nine eighty-five, but it's gonna take a while, do you mind move to the side by the white lines?” “Oh No! alright! of course I don't mind.” FryBri came out in five with a smile, agile, so kind and polite, what a guy! no lies. I tried the fries, it was bonafide. Wife couldn't be happier with her sides.

Mediocre fries, you can get them all day long at FiveGuys. But if you want some finer things in life, FryBri's french fries are as fine as french vintage wines. Don't let the best things in life pass you by.
