Manhattan's Food and Spirits — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

I started to come here on and off for 10 days and started to like the place till today which is Tuesday.. Kitchen is not open so they have tacos which I did get an order. The bartender (Colorful hair) brought me two of them (I guess that's how many in an order).. That meat was nasty burnt dry but I ate them with no problem since they were almost $10.. My bottle of beer was almost empty and she walked by few times and never asked if i need another beer. I put my empty bottle toward her and she walked by and was more interested to talk to her friends. There were literally 7 people at the bar and she couldn't check if New Guy needed a drink or no so I got up.. Left her a tip and walked out. I have been here few times and service was great but I think she is inexperienced bartender and hopefully others can teach her. I will be back again because I did have good food before and that's why I left good...

First review from around march 2023: Food was extremely cold, and bland, only received half our order and gave up on any thought of getting the rest because it took over an hour and a half to get the bit we did and there were only a handful of people in there, I can't imagine it being busy. Things we tried: Fried mushrooms 2/5 Fried porkchops 3/5 (only got one of the 2 we ordered) Mac and cheese 1/5 (no flavor and ice cold) Greenbeans 3/5 (just normal with no salt or seasoning whatsoever)

New Review Edit for Aug 30, 2023: I have since retried this place many times and the food seemed to have gotten better in consistency and flavor so I raised my ratings. I would recommend: The mozzarella sticks, fried porkchops, and the handbreaded chicken tender app...

Nice people, decent food, but this is a clique bar and while I have been here several times over many years, I am not part of the "group" which means I just don't get served like the regulars. Today was similar- even though I always order lunch, I was here for an hour and wasn't offered a menu or even asked. It's not that service is bad as much as indifferent. I tip well so that's not a problem. I don't get drunk, start arguments or interject myself into other people's conversations. I just don't belong. I told my server, a very sweet person, that I was leaving to get something to eat and even that did not make a difference. I am taking my business elsewhere so that I can...
